This is my baby, Kaiya. She's a female Alaskan Malamute and she's 2 years old, her birthday is on the 8th July. I love her more than I love cheese, and thats ALOT!
I love Music, mostly Rock/Heavy metal. My favoruite bands/solo artists at the moment are: Bic Runga, Coheed & Cambria, Daughtry, Delain, Evanescence, Florence + The Machine, The Gathering, Imogen Heap, In This Moment, Katy Perry, Killswitch Engage, Lacuna Coil, Lady Gaga, Lifehouse, Linkin Park, Lisa Miskovsky, Mercenary, Nightwish, Olivia Lufkin, Paramore, Pink, Placebo, Rurutia, Shiny Toy Guns, Skillet, Three Days Grace, Vanilla Ninja and Within Temptation.
I really look up to female vocalists, especially those in rock, such as Sharon Den Adel, Amy Lee, Cristina Scabbia, Lacey Mosley, Chibi, Tarja Turunen, Sandra Nasic, Charlotte Wessels, Anneke Van Giersbergan, Marion Raven, Josephine Conigliaro, Hayley Williams, Ann and Nancy Wilson, Joan Jett and Stevie Nicks. I also like the vocals of Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Florence Welch, Lisa Miskovsky and Imogen Heap.
In August 2006 I was diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma, a rare type of cancer found in the bones or soft tissue. I had 6 rounds of intensive chemotherapy consisting of 4 chemo's. I then had the tumor removed in January 2007 and had few more months preventative chemothery consisting of 3 chemo's. I went into remission August 2007. Unfortunately I relapsed in June 2008, the disease had retunred on my spine and was pressing down on the nerves which made me unable to walk. I recieved 30 sessions of intensive radiotherapy (I was told the chemo was no use this time and radiotherapy was the only option left), over the space of a month and a half then two weeks of physiotherapy on my legs and back. A scan later showed that the treatment had done it's job and that the tumor had shrunk.
Update 11/12/09: Unfortunately I will be leaving IMVU as of today, I found out in October the cancer has spread to both my lungs and the tumor on my spine has grown slightly. I will be getting treatment, although the doctors think that it won't work. I'm not giving up, I'm not going down without a fight. I send my love to all the friends I've met on here.
