For anyone who is interested, the pictures of the cabin with the furniture and the rug in it pretty much speak for themselves. There is nothing wrong with the product. In fact, it's my current default room and I've entertained friends there who rave about how warm and Christmas-y it looks. The handful of complaints are coming from a very tiny percentage of the people who have bought this room or bundle and none contacted me to ask for help before they gave a negative review.
Is it small? Yes, it's a bit on the small side. Hence the word "cozy". (Make a note of this if you're ever looking for an apartment. Cozy=small ;-) And yes, it can be difficult at times to navigate around the interior because of the roof, which requires working at a closer range than some of the other rooms you may already own.
I did not create this mesh, I merely re-textured an existing product whose functionality and dimensions were already developed by someone else. I just made it pretty. So the problem with the lack of standing spots inside had nothing to do with my "workmanship". However I will continue to support the product for anyone who needs help with it. All I ask is that you visit my homepage and leave me a note -- probably easier to do than leaving a bad review. All inquiries will be answered.
Ultimately, my goal is that everyone who buys my products enjoys them and feels that their credits were well spent.
