What are Chat Rooms?
Chat Rooms are permanent rooms that anyone can access, even if the owner isn't there. Simply click on a room that has open slots - and you will enter the room to chat with others in it. Like other multi-player online games , it takes time to load the room and other avatars, so be patient, it�s well worth the wait � rooms are fun!

In the new chat rooms, chat bubbles can sometimes dominate the room, and following the conversation can be difficult. That's why we created Text Chat � which allows you to follow the conversation in one window � like you would in a multi-player game.

Enhanced to add people to any chat. If you find a fun chat room, just click on Group Chat to invite your friends to join the chat.
Community Safety

Chat Rooms are designed to keep things enjoyable and safe for all. Room owners control access, can boot trouble-makers temporarily, or block them permanently. The rooms directory splits rooms by age group 13-17 and 18+; and also limits Access Pass rooms to Access Pass holders.
Performance Tips

For the best rooms experience, a fast computer and broadband connection are recommended. Rooms with smaller download sizes perform best - so be sure to observe room sizes for the most optimal experience. This release currently works best for rooms that have items totaling 4,000Kb or less, and for the best experience, we recommend keeping your avatar within a range of 1,000-2,000Kb.
