It's California, and the year is 1959. Danny Zuko, the leader of the T-birds (a group of black-jacket greasers), has fallen in love with a young girl named Sandy Olsson while at the beach during the summer. When summer comes to an end, they sadly must say goodbye and part ways. Yet in a surprising move, Sandy's parents decide to move to America, and the two love birds, Danny and Sandy, end up attending the same high school. However, social differences prove to be an obstacle challenging their romance. Can they be overcome?
