The Soapbox
the crossroads.. it would be a rather unremarkable crossing of paths in the wilderness, except for one remarkable fact: portals dot the landscape. no one remembers who put them there, or why, but there they are, and they'll take a body most anywhere. this has made the crossroads a thriving center for trade, and as such, sanctuary laws are strictly enforced.
most folk are simply passing through, down one path or the other, through one portal to the next, but there is a stable permanent community. some residents are born here, and others are travellers who decide to stop and stay. the constant flux means that anything, and any one, may be found here. this makes the crossroads a place of extraordinary tolerance.. of other races, beliefs, factions, etc.
so open your eyes, close your mouths, and take in the wonders. but tread lightly, friend, the crossroads has a magic that protects its own.

Help: quick'n dirty
The quick'n dirty is a place where members can write short messages for everyone to see. It is a quick and fun way for people to catch up with each other in a group. Unlike the Discussion Board which follows a more traditional forum style exchange, the quick'n dirty emphasizes what is happening right now and right here in your group. For this reason, messages are limited to 100 characters, and only the most recent messages are displayed.
A "new" icon (
) appearing in front of a message indicates that the message was posted within the last
5 minutes.To see the date and time when a message was posted, move your mouse cursor over the message, and a tooltip will appear that shows you the post date and time of the message.
Please note that if your message is deemed unsuitable for the group, it may be deleted from the quick'n dirty.
To post a message, click on the "Post Message" link. Please note that only a subset of the message syntax is supported for messages. Please click on the "Syntax Help" button to find out more.
