The Soapbox
Laying in the dirt the booming sounds of war,
Your sword in your hand laying on the floor,
You think of your loved ones living back at home,
While you face the swords completely on your own,
Where are the others where could they be,
Looking in the distance you can just see,
Laying very still was your best friend,
His torn and broken body no one could mend,
Holding back tears there was nothing you could do,
You were on your own now that for sure is true,
If only you could find the strength to move along,
The sound of screaming men a very sad song,
You were on your own now that is what you knew,
But could you kill another is that something you would do?,
Crawling across the ground you hear shouting up ahead,
Holding up a sword, a stab and he was dead,
The pain of guilt in your heart of what you had just done,
You fell down in the blood of the young one,
You had killed a boy all alone like you,
Would you kill another will your heart let you?,
Making your way across the wet and muddy ground,
The enemy was coming closer you hope you weren’t found,
The sound of stomping boots and something cold to your head,
Then the sound of a bang it was to late you were dead.

The Holla Board is a place where members can write short messages for everyone to see. It is a quick and fun way for people to catch up with each other in a group. Unlike the Discussion Board which follows a more traditional forum style exchange, the Holla Board emphasizes what is happening right now and right here in your group. For this reason, messages are limited to 100 characters, and only the most recent messages are displayed.
A "new" icon (
) appearing in front of a message indicates that the message was posted within the last
5 minutes.To see the date and time when a message was posted, move your mouse cursor over the message, and a tooltip will appear that shows you the post date and time of the message.
Please note that if your message is deemed unsuitable for the group, it may be deleted from the Holla Board.
To post a message, click on the "Post Message" link. Please note that only a subset of the message syntax is supported for messages. Please click on the "Syntax Help" button to find out more.
