As the name does suggest, this group is for educating people about the GLBTQ community. For those who don't know, GLBTQ stands for gay, , , transgender(umbrella definition), and questioning. Put all introductions in the introduction thread to limit thread build up.

The Soapbox
Hello and welcome, to People Working To Educate Others About GLBTQ or you can just call it PWE. This group is for information on the GLBTQ. Feel free to browse our gathered knowledge and post information of your own. We also have a poetry section and a open chat section. Also, don't be afraid to ask questions. Asking does NOT make you look stupid, it means your open minded. "The only stupid question is the one never asked."
Okay now I want to state a few simple rules:
1. Keep bad language to a minimum this group is for all ages (if find a thread
too inappropiate I will not hesitate to remove it)
2. This isn't a match makers group so please don't start any of that here
3. Don't disrespect anyone in this group, this is a place for understanding (If you disrespect anyone, you will first get a warning, then the next time you'll be kicked out)
4. Sexual content must be kept to a way minimum. While I know that parts of the gathered information may contain some sexual content as refering to certain topics that come up. You must realize we have viewers that are young of age, so again if I see it and and its way out of line, I will not hesitate to remove it.
5. Have a nice day ^.^

The Holla Board is a place where members can write short messages for everyone to see. It is a quick and fun way for people to catch up with each other in a group. Unlike the Discussion Board which follows a more traditional forum style exchange, the Holla Board emphasizes what is happening right now and right here in your group. For this reason, messages are limited to 100 characters, and only the most recent messages are displayed.
A "new" icon (
) appearing in front of a message indicates that the message was posted within the last
5 minutes.To see the date and time when a message was posted, move your mouse cursor over the message, and a tooltip will appear that shows you the post date and time of the message.
Please note that if your message is deemed unsuitable for the group, it may be deleted from the Holla Board.
To post a message, click on the "Post Message" link. Please note that only a subset of the message syntax is supported for messages. Please click on the "Syntax Help" button to find out more.
