HERE ARE THE 7 RULES FOR POSTING AND BEHAVIOR IN THE GROUP!!!
1-When you first join it would be just dandy if you posted your grade and the instrument you play ON THE "HOLLA BOARD." School and chair are of course optional. This makes it quick and easy for all of us to get to know you a bit. Also, when you first join it is preferable that you reply to one of the posts along with your post in the holla board. This will keep the group active, and also allows the newbies to voice their opinions or ideas.
2-There will be absolutely NO PROFANITY on any of your posts. Seriously! You WILL get kicked out. Unless you are quoting a comedian on the "random/remembrance" board for some reason, or you censor your language, no swearing or vulgarity will be allowed.
3-No fighting is allowed. Directly insulting a member for their instrument or any other reason will not be tolerated. Certain times exceptions will be made. (Although I can't really think of anything other than if you explicitly stated that you were joking.)
4-Religious debates are not allowed. We are here for music not faith. You may state your faith at any point for any reason, but debates over who is right or wrong will not be tolerated and you will be kicked out. You may start discussions about your faith on you own in PM's (personal messages). I don't mind discussions over faith on the board but I would rather not have them, since I have been in several and they usually end in two sides screaming at each other which does go back to rule #3.
5-You are free to post about almost any topic you like, but be sure to check the group posting and make certain that no one else is already discussing the topic. Although you can do this it is preferable that your topics pertain to music.
6-ADD FRIENDS!!! The ultimate goal of the group is to get musicians of all age groups in touch with each other.
7-Have fun! Start topics and don't let the group die. The current officers in the group make up the backbone of the group that supports the head (ME!). Without them this group would seriously be nothing, make sure to say hi and thank them for contributing!

The Membership attribute of a group specifies how you may join the group.
Open: You may join the group at any time.
Invite only: You must be invited to join the group.

The Access attribute of a group specifies how the group can be viewed, browsed, or searched.
Public: Anyone can view the group. The group shows up in browse and search.
Private: Only members of the group can view the group. The group shows up in browse and search.
Secret: Only members of the group can view the group. The group does not show up in browse or search.

The "Active Members" panel displays up to six members who posted most recently to the group.
Click on the link "View All Members" to view all members of the group.

This icon indicates that this is an Access-Pass holders only group.

Help: White Board
The White Board is a place where members can write short messages for everyone to see. It is a quick and fun way for people to catch up with each other in a group. Unlike the Discussion Board which follows a more traditional forum style exchange, the White Board emphasizes what is happening right now and right here in your group. For this reason, messages are limited to 100 characters, and only the most recent messages are displayed.
A "new" icon (
) appearing in front of a message indicates that the message was posted within the last
5 minutes.To see the date and time when a message was posted, move your mouse cursor over the message, and a tooltip will appear that shows you the post date and time of the message.
Please note that if your message is deemed unsuitable for the group, it may be deleted from the White Board.
To post a message, click on the "Post Message" link. Please note that only a subset of the message syntax is supported for messages. Please click on the "Syntax Help" button to find out more.

The Soapbox is a (small) platform for the group owner to deliver a message to all the group members. It is a quick one-way communication between the group owner and the group.
