If you are wondering why our numbers have been going up and down, read below to find out why.
Recently it has come to my attention that some IMVU Groups are being used as places to gather names for spam. These "users" or bots as most call them join IMVU, then join groups, copy down all the members names, and then spam these members with chain letters and unsolicitated ads. In order to keep our privacy and only have members that are here for the right reason, I have decided to weed out and delete suspected bots. If the "user" meets the following criteria they will be removed.
My Criteria:
First the "user" must not have ever posted in the club and their account is a Guest account. They must also meet at least two more of the following:
1. Has never added a avatar picture
2. Hasn't logged in to IMVU in 6 months
3. Their avatar picture is of them in the outfit (has to include all: hair, body, skin, clothes) you receive when you sign up on a plain white background
4. Only IMVU has sent them a message on their homepage
5. They haven't customized their page at all
6. They have no friends added
Now I realize there may be some real users that fall through the cracks. So if you know of anyone who has been unjustly deleted, let me know. I will add them back and offer my sincere apology. Also if you can think of a way to better identify these bots, let me know.

Open: You may join the group at any time.
Invite only: You must be invited to join the group.
V.I.P. only: Available to VIP members only. Only IMVU VIP members may join. Click here to learn about the VIP program.

The Access attribute of a group specifies how the group can be viewed, browsed, or searched.
Public: Anyone can view the group. The group shows up in browse and search.
Private: Only members of the group can view the group. The group shows up in browse and search.
Secret: Only members of the group can view the group. The group does not show up in browse or search.

The "Active Members" panel displays up to six members who posted most recently to the group.
Click on the link "View All Members" to view all members of the group.

This icon indicates that this is an Access-Pass holders only group.

The Gamer Life is a place where members can write short messages for everyone to see. It is a quick and fun way for people to catch up with each other in a group. Unlike the Discussion Board which follows a more traditional forum style exchange, the Gamer Life emphasizes what is happening right now and right here in your group. For this reason, messages are limited to 100 characters, and only the most recent messages are displayed.
A "new" icon (
) appearing in front of a message indicates that the message was posted within the last
5 minutes.To see the date and time when a message was posted, move your mouse cursor over the message, and a tooltip will appear that shows you the post date and time of the message.
Please note that if your message is deemed unsuitable for the group, it may be deleted from the Gamer Life.
To post a message, click on the "Post Message" link. Please note that only a subset of the message syntax is supported for messages. Please click on the "Syntax Help" button to find out more.
