Typing into a 3D window makes chat bubbles appear over your avatar's
head. These chat bubbles automatically resize based on how much you
type. You can click on a balloon to copy (ctrl+C) the text and then
paste
(ctrl+V) to add text to a bubble. You can even paste in clickable URLs.
Also,
by clicking on a bubble, you can drag it down to reveal your chat

You are capable of doing hundreds of animations in IMVU...for FREE!
There
are two ways of triggering animations: (1) Click on your avatar to
bring up
the animations menu and then select the animation you would like to
play;
(2) Simply type in the name of the action and that will trigger the
animation.
So, typing LOL, wave or even breakdance make you move. |

Shake hands, hug hello, serenade and even body slam! Not only can you
puppeteer YOUR avatar but you can also interact with the people you
chat
with. To do so, just click on the OTHER person's avatar and choose from
the hundreds of fun animations. You can also continue to trigger these
animations while the first one is playing so you can keep on hugging! |

If you like emoticons, you are going to love Modicons! Modicons replace
your avatar with a 3D model and they can be triggered the same way as
your animations:(1) Click on your avatar to bring up the animations
menu
and then select the Modicon you would like to play; (2) Simply type in
the
name of the action and that will trigger the animation. |
