Gain experience and status as you create products for IMVU members all over the world.
Make your own products
Create your own original designs and start profiting from your efforts. Become a better artist and learn how to start a small business. You can begin small and graduate from simple Stickers, and clothing textures, to 3D Rooms, Furniture and even Flash scripted games. Don't see what you want in the catalog? MAKE YOUR OWN!
Earn Credits
After you purchase your avatar name, you can invest your credits into a business that will earn you even more credits over time! With hard work and a little capital, you may discover a lucrative side business that will earn you financial rewards as you continue to develop as an entrepreneur and artist.
What skills do I need?
If you can already use a 2D paint program, Flash, or a 3D program like MAX, you're ahead of the game. If you're still learning, you can gain experience with the same tools that are used by the computer gaming industry.
Discover what many other IMVU Content Creators have: the harder you work, the more lucrative your new business will become.
What should I know before I start?
All Creators must know about several IMVU policies including the Virtual Goods Policy, the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service. You must review these policies in advance of becoming a Creator.
While you can make lots of content as a Creator, you will need a 2D paint program that exports JPG, GIF and PNG files. You will also benefit from having 3DS MAX 7 (currently supported version) and Flash./p>
creator news
As some of you may have noticed we rolled back the pricing change. Something went wrong when we made our change. We thought we had all of the bases covered, but it appears we didn't. Our intent with the first batch of changes was to change only those products that did not have complicated derivation chains, but evidently more than what we intended to do happened. This is exactly the reason why we are taking this process slowly, so we can rollback any changes in case of problems. No changes will be made until next week and we are sure of the impacts. Apologies for any issues or concerns this might have caused.
