6. 3D window updates
Once you've chosen your new texture, the texture should automatically get applied to the shirt. If this does not automatically happen, please click the 'Apply Changes' button at the top of the Edit Texture tab.

7. Save as
Select the File menu and choose 'Save as'. What you are about to save is a file in the CFL format. You may name this CFL whatever you like as the name will automatically be changed to a unique, numerical name upon submission to the catalog.

8. Submit product
Once you have saved your new product, click on the Product Info tab and then click the big, red button labeled 'Submit Product to IMVU Catalog'.
|
 |
 |
 |
9. Enter Product information
When you hit the 'Submit...' button, a web page will appear wherein you can edit multiple fields:
· Choose where in the catalog your product will live
· The Product’s name
· A catalog image for your new product
· The Product Description (you can add HTML tags to this)
· Product rating (See IMVU’s Terms of Service for guidelines – anything containing nudity and/or otherwise adult content must be given a mature rating)
· Product price
· CFL file – for this section, just copy and paste the URL provided just above the edit box. TIP: If you haven’t saved your CFL, this URL will not appear.
· Derivability – Allows others to make derivations of your work. If they sell, you get more money.
Fill everything out and press the submit button.
NOTE: A catalog image is necessary to submit a product to the IMVU catalog. Catalog images are 100 pixels wide x 80 pixels tall and should represent the product you are trying to sell. This is easily achieved by simply taking a snapshot and editing it in your favorite image editing software.

Congratulations! You have just submitted a product to the IMVU catalog!
If you don't want your first product to show up in the catalog, you can just click the little red button on the product's info page. This will hide the product in the catalog from everyone but you.
You can always resubmit a product for free so don't be shy about playing with what the Previewer can do (like in Advanced mode) or about fixing potentially broken products.
