I was just wondering as i do with many chat programs and online games, how many of you.. boys/girls are actually girls/boys while your avatar is the opposite gender?
Just for the fun i thought i post it, since i haven't found a likewise post yet,
Come on in, and show us your suprise or secret!
(I'll be really honest before it's to late and i get alot of angry people )
Call me perverted or sick whatever, but ever since there are online games and profiled/avatar chats, i've been only interested in playing out a girl character, when i'm actually a guy! >_<
I've done it with everything, CoH/CoV, WoW, Msn Rpg, The Matrix Online ect ect,
I don't have no real reason why, maybe its just because i like the dress-code better _________________

I know a lot of guys that like to be female characters, as for me I have a male avatar although it doesn't have much clothes at all. I usually have my female avatar on, but sometimes I forget and my friends invite me into a conversation with my male avatar still on
I don't think it's too bad..I mean if you have the choice, why not? I'm comfortable with my gender so I don't feel wrong wearing a male avatar since I know its just pixels. _________________

Ofcourse.. i know i had my conflicts, when people actually found out i
wasn't the girl but the guy behind my character, and i can understand its either really annoying or just a huge turn-off.. when taking it to far..
Mainly i regret that at certain times i wasn't the guy at that moment i could've been, but then again i wasn't aiming on decieving people with my opposite gender, i was rather just enjoying the possibilities that come with playing female type of characters mostly in games, as for chats i usually always did roleplay and nothing to serious luckily.. _________________

I suppose it also has something to do with intentions if I wanted to find someone to date, I'd use my actual gender..but I am not planning on finding a significant other, and I don't plan on faking myself out. If someone asked me if I'm a guy or a girl specifically, I would tell them I am a girl, male avatar or not. It can seem creepy since avatars is all we can see about the person we're chatting with, and there is no way of knowing who is really behind the avatar. _________________

Reminds me of Tsukasa from .hack//sign. It's an anime show where a female plays as a male in an MMORPG.
I'm a male though, and I have a male avatar. I generally tend to always go for male avatars and such, but if this were an MMORPG game worthy of my time I might also have a female one on standby. _________________

Male, and I often play both.
Depends on who I'm trying to trick/manipulate at the moment. |

I suppose running around in a male avatar with pigtails doesn't help with the creepy factor. Although, that only adds onto my fun. _________________

I'm female. I wish I were a guy though, even though I still play a female avatar. _________________ I lost my sig somewhere. |

I have both. It's amazing how differently I am treated as a male avie as oppose to any of my female ones.

I found that out when I saw playing with them in the chat.
It funny how people judge the pixels gender. _________________

True enough, still i wouldn't use the rule as to get stuff from others for personal gain wich could compromise realistic friendships or contacts.
Though If offered willingly by the other person for a second time, while i generously declined the first.. well..i might accept it..
On the other factor of gaming wise, yes i would take that advantage..
But i will never ever ask/beg/borrow/rent/steal for anything i might need or want, if it's offered thats just another thing.. _________________
