Basically, there's a mosaic image of IMVU avatars. Clicking in the image will take you to that person's homepage. Hidden on one of the homepages is a special "Treasure Chest" sticker/image. If you're the first to click the treasure chest, you win the prize.
As soon as it's found, another treasure is hidden.
The longer the treasure goes without being found, the more credits it's worth.

The person whose homepage it was on wins some credits too. I will regenerate the mosaic image every now and then... When I do, anyone who owns their name and has been active in the last week is eligible to have their image in the mosaic. I randomly pull down 5000 avpics from this set (owns name and active in the last week), and use them to make the image.
Blueish and greenish images are rare, so if your avatar image is blueish or greenish, and the source image has blue or green parts, you are more likely to be in the mosaic. (Note that the current blueish background has a number of repeated avpics).
I would appreciate good source material for the mosaic image. The current size (800x480) is a good one, I think. I thought of making the mosaic out of the previous winner, but unfortunately the mosaic creation is rather cpu-intensive. I figure, rotating the image once a week or so will be nice, maybe daily if I can get enough source material.

But could you tell us what does this special sticker looks like? Because I have no idea what's I'm looking for, and it's hard on pages crowded with isane amount of stickers

I just spot-checked, and I'm not seeing any of this. The bottom panel can take a little while to load after you move your mouse, but if I give it time, I haven't seen any errors. (This is since I did the new javascript-less version, if you were using it earlier today, then you may have been having problems with that, which was a little flaky).

The IMVU Christmas party is in a couple of hours, so we're not pushing any new code for the rest of the day. I do plan on making the links open in a new window. I was also thinking of maybe putting a distance notice... "You're within 5 squares!" or something, to make the game easier.
A possible problem with this is that one side effect I intended for this game is to introduce people to others' homepages that they might not otherwise see. That's also why I don't want the treasure sticker to slide out of the side of the screen or something, you really have to look for it.
Note: It can appear anywhere on the page, it's randomly located, so you might have to scroll to find it. It should not be hidden 'behind' anything, except sometimes for media player panels and other weird activex controls people put on their homepages... I can't always make it overlap those.
