14:40 We have climbed over broken glass and crawled through the barbed wire.....
You double your revenue without thinking about the bones that built you.
https://youtu.be/zO1A7jzL8xo

We get it.

I have always referred to your old user base as lab rats because you experimented on us and we kept coming back for more.

I regurgitated when I read this.

But then again you are accustomed to us vomiting. You almost enjoy our pain.

Announcing this at nearly midnight - with about a 30 hour warning of when you will launch this on us - NOT allowing us to archive 11 to 12 years of OUR history and information that we have referred to for YEARS....seriously?

HOW IS THIS EFFECTING YOUR REVENUE GENERATION THAT YOU WOULD RISK LOSING 0.00005 PERCENT OF YOUR USER BASE? You know...the little mushrooms in the dark who have FOR YEARS communicated, tweeked, assisted, complained, rejoiced and SUPPORTED the growth of IMVU in these forums?

We don't have time to grab what we need...or want.

Thank you for taking a big poop on my day...and me.

Apparently, the loyal user base doesn't know what's good for them, so they need to focus on the brand new users to make money. Maybe if Staff would take some ADD medicine and stick to a plan instead of abandoning new projects every quarter and leaving them unfinished, they'd see more growth.

What is going to happen with the creator payout help tickets? Are they being consolidated into the new thing or do we get to keep them?

What about all the information in the forums regarding the payout system? There is very important information there that is not listed anywhere else.

Would you consider keeping some of the more important and useful threads (either move them to this new thing or somewhere else) if people volunteered to go through them to pick out what is needed?

If I read things right, the information isn't getting wiped out. It's getting placed in read only (Basically stasis) People will still be able to read everything that has been written in this forum, they are just unable to add new information.

It's pretty disgraceful to push badges so hard as a way to express ourselves and charge 100k to do so, and then only display them on homepages.
Sorry, avatar cards too.
Ya know, because avatar cards are not being displayed 'at this time.'
And a 24 hour notice for something this big?
I get anywhere from one to three messages about sales when I wake in the morning, but had to find out about this through a group on Facebook?

7. We’re excited to introduce a new reputation system built on people helping people. At the beginning, this will be based only on the number of posts in the community, but ultimately, we will give users the ability to gain points in other ways as well. We’ll even have periodic contests to encourage this kind of helpful behavior. The more helpful you are, the more your reputation will grow!

So if people are just spamming nonsense, they can get "rep"? That's kind of silly don't you think?

I can't stand IMVU Next and I can't stand the direction IMVU is going in either.

First you ruined everyone's icons in the shop on IMVU next. We begged you to allow devs the ability to customise them, but you didn't listen. The shop on Next looks like a pile of crap. You can't see the clothes properly and it has no aesthetic appeal.

You ruined chat rooms years ago by making seeing the room information optional. Many people don't even know it exists anymore. They don't know what the room rules are and get frustrated at being booted because they never saw the rules. This has had a huge negative impact on the community as a whole.

You ruined photostream by moving it to that ridiculous feed thing, granted photostream was never good to begin with but still, why?

You ruined badges by letting everyone make animated badges without giving people an opt out of seeing them option. I hate to think how many migraines people developed from that fiasco.

And now here we are, you have absolutely ruined the forums. When people asked for better forums they did not mean this. This is a step backwards into stupidity.

What's left to ruin? Groups? The client? Going to take another swing at artists and ban uploading custom DPs? There's almost nothing left here for me and others like me at this point.

I don't really need to quote you but since we can't quote anymore, why not?? I agree with what your saying 100%.

The reason sites like YouTube have no quoting featuring (or similar formatted sites like Instagram) is because the whole basis of commenting is for that particular item. This is a forum. Are forums like this not cool anymore? When I think of a forum I think of bbcode/quoting/user profiles/ badges all in a size like this. In the preview pictures, our profiles have been turned into TINY CIRCLES? I love looking at people's cards and badges but with a tiny display, what details are left to see?

I'm probably rambling. I feel like a chicken with its head cut off flailing around before it dies. 24 hours is barely any time. Shows who imvu cares about (yet again)

Next for 2017 president and if you don't like it, you can bugger off Twisted Evil

After reading others' thoughts, I realized I didn't touch upon what some of them did, the fact the imvu is, once again, rolling out an incomplete feature.

Why in the world are you guys always in such a rush to push things down our throat when it's not even ready? You've done this with the client, Next, and now this.

*sigh*

So we get it, (thanks Chicka) the older base users don't matter. Of course, drawing in new customers is good, but why the constant shitting on older users who have helped this place grow as well? Many do manage to 'get it' when something new comes along, more than Brett gives credit for. It's the useless, ridiculous carp you guys keep forcing up our asses that we're sick of.

Can't you, for once, consider finishing a feature before rolling it out, and for the sake of all users, give us a decent warning?!

Do they even realize that the people who use badges, tend to have custom homepages? Not everyone uses the default About Me tab where badges can be found. And sometimes, clicking avatar pictures on homepages randomly launches the 3D chat, not open avatar cards.

They really don't use their own product, if they did they would know better than to kill off every single method of customization and creativity for users.

My head is swirling.

I think I need to analyze the post by Mac Daddy and Cheese...
and list my concerns in ONE post - that will be in the NEW forum - so it isn't dissolved.

Anything we post will be gone tomorrow people.

Is there going to be a button so the OP of the topic can "select the best answer" ? It's the most useful thing and only thing I even cared about when the forums get updated.
Also, like and dislike buttons?? That way when we go through a 30 page "discussion" we can instantly sort through the best answers and most liked posts to get what we came for when looking through it.
I don't even see how this is an upgrade, but I guess we shall wait and see.

I think if the system is going to have a reputation system. That it would only make sense to have a Like and Dislike button. Because if the system is starting off just by posts a user makes. People can just post a bunch of crap that isn't useful and somehow that will give them good reputation.

that is only direction imvu knows how to go now.... unsure why so many bad changes are being made but if they want to self-destruct this site then maybe they are going in a right direction...

unfortunate i am running out of things i like about this place. am sure this is true also for many users. i don't understand imvu "logic" in decision they keep making.

kill the site and the client...move all things to Next. why not be honest say that is the way it is headed imvu? or maybe rather you just kill off loyal users one..by one...by one...

extreme tired of this bullshit Evil or Very Mad
