I've been playing Imvu for a fairly long time.

at times I notice that imvu is a bit money hungry? so I thought to say my fair share of things they could try to help the site's popularity and help with their profit without resulting to a bit unfair things.

1. anime: so far as I know there are not enough anime creators nor is there enough Imvu advertisement to get anime fans into the game. imvu's main priority should be the anime community since it is a large community that could really help with the popularity. they should also help some devs make anime products easier or even some of they're dev staff make these items.

2. creators: as far as I know it was a good option I thought at first to make creators restricted to being VIPs but then I think about one thing... (bad creators) like I know good creators make a better investment than what their paying for the VIP fee, however, new creators don't they have to have veteran experience otherwise most of they're investment will be lower than what they are paying for imvu. so I thought maybe they should take some of they're time to give tips to new creators and more options for creators or even the creator option back. tho I believe they're already doing this the best they can I just wanted to point it out Razz

3. age verify: I really like imvu but seeing this as a payment option is just a red flag.. when I look at this as a payment option I can only see new players with a brain having false thoughts of this game struggling and trust me you don't want customers to see your company struggling...

4. adult content: I know they use ap to get money but sometimes they just need to think.. there's a rival game called second life it's known for having free adult content tho having access pass as a payment option is good for the time being but I'm really afraid if it remains it will lower imvu's community of players who love adult content due to their being too many games that offer the same thing for free. hopefully, they find another option as payment instead of Acess Pass in the future.

5. games: sometimes I wish imvu also advertise the Yugioh communities by having Yugioh related games in some items and even games like vanguard if they can get some devs to do this they can make the game even more popular.

Sorry for the bad grammar I just hope imvu gets better and I really hope players put more investment on anime and game items so more players can get into the game. these suggestions I said pretty much seem minor and I would love to hear your opinion and suggestion ladies and gentleman Very Happy

As a creator I create what I want. If you have a request you can post here & see who is willing to create it for you & what the cost would be. http://www.imvu.com/catalog/modules.php?op=modload&name=phpbb2&file=viewforum.php&f=12

Sadly that's the problem Luce it's not about making these requests for creators it's usually about some creators willing to create them to help out the community. I would make requests but sadly I don't want to overboard one creator making all of that stuff well I guess I could try popular animes/games but I would probably need to ask at least three creators for that Embarassed

1 & 5: This is a slippery slope. Unless creators are given permission by the respective owners of said intellectual property That could get both IMVU and those creators in trouble. I personally wish people would create their own content instead of riding on the coat tails of established products. IE: stop riding the tail of Nike and make your own brand.

2: If i'm understanding this one right, there are plenty of groups on here that do offer tips and tricks when it comes to being a creator. I guess if IMVU made the forums more known and groups more known, it would help point people in the right direction. Then there is also people taking their own initiative and looking on YouTube to see if there is any tutorials on there. You can find almost anything on YouTube.

3. I guess this one is all perspective. I didn't see it as a form of the company struggling. I saw it as paying for an upgrade.

4. I wouldn't mind IMVU offering more adult content. It's not my cup of tea, but that shouldn't stop other people from having their fun. Only counter I would say to it is. Yes there is Second Life, we don't need 2 Second Life's do we? Anymore than we need to have 2 different fast food restaurants with different names but serving the same exact thing.

I agree with what most of what you say. but sadly age verify most players do see it as a struggle when you think about it some players just willing want to verify they're "age" to imvu but sadly don't want to waste money on that. there's a lot of online games that allow a verify without payment. heck, even aq worlds is an example for players who want to become one of they're devs.

yea creators would need permission. for games like yu-gi-oh but then again they could try ygopro I'm pretty sure they wouldn't mind players having their app in product items.

the creator thing yea we have youtube and stuff but sometimes it's much better for forums being known and imvu its self-supporting starting creators.

In my opinion even if most users see it this way as far as Age Verification being a desperate plea to get money. Perhaps they need to understand what they are actually paying for. They are not paying to have the little shield, they are paying for the paperwork or whatever to be processed. Really no different than paying someone to take care of paperwork. Granted this step can be bypassed by using a credit card or the like. But then it's all going on faith that the card holder is actually the one using the card.

This does have me curious though, since you did make mention of other sites that allow for something like age verification without some kind of payment involved. Would you be willing to share a few of these sites? Not saying they are not out there, but when I have an actual reference point to work with, that's better in my opinion than not having a reference point.

As far as being a content creator on this site or any site for that matter. One has to ask themselves a single question, "Do you have to be able to create content to be able to use the site?" I'm sure there are plenty of people that would love to be a creator on here. There is still that difference of want vs need. If someone wants to be a creator, they need to work with what is currently in place and understand why it is in place.

aq.com is one of them most players who become devs and stuff claimed they needed to verify but at no cost. but then again I can cut this off since aq is a more popular company.

Since you do have me at a disadvantage here. You seem more familiar with the content on that site. Does that site contain adult content like the content that would be found on here?

well, sadly aq isn't known for sexual adult content but rather gore and stuff on their Ai enemies. it's more of a teen rated game you usually go to it if you're interested in one of its five category games. but of course, they do have some sexy models on aq 3D and maybe some on the normal aq if you're interested in 2D that is Surprised

another advantage is that they also allow you to earn their premium options from their site portal.battleon.com you usually can do surveys and offers to earn points to transfer to one of your accounts to get their premium money or options like membership which is like VIP on here.

Developers make products they enjoy. I've stumbled upon several good anime themed catalogs. It's just that it's not safe for Developers to make exact replicas of products that are not their own. Similar to the Nike reference mentioned above, there is a copyright issue.

I'm pretty sure anime does not have anything listed on their copyright terms for gaming "codes" especially ones like imvu. there's fate/stay an old school player already made archer's outfit it's just low quality. I've seen are neptunia avatars. naruto items are also on imvu and seem to still seem to be created with no copyrights striking them at all there's also a lot of Sebastian items from black butler and ciel the creators just aren't too good at creating them.

Developers are not the employees of IMVU though. They depend upon sales to turn a profit or to even make a living for themselves. Since developers don't make a fixed income, I do not think it is reasonable or fair for IMVU to pressure or force developers into making certain products that most likely only a select group of users will buy. I know that I would not make a certain style of products based on hearsay that a lot of people would buy them. There needs to be more proof than a couple of people voting in a forum poll to assure developers that making something is a solid business choice.

If anyone wants a certain type of product made then they should be willing to pay a developer for their time to make it. IMVU has no business telling developers what type of products they should be making. I disagree with any suggestion that IMVU should start pushing developers to make things they don't want to make.

I also don't agree that the anime community should be IMVUs priority. They should have an inclusive advertising campaign which targets a diverse range of people. There are hundreds upon thousands of products on here, IMVU is a "something for everyone" type of place.

I said anime because it's a large community tho imvu does go after all communities it just seems they lack advertising to very-huge communities as well I put anime as an example. I probably forgot to mention.. yea I was kinda too quick to post xD
