Is there any way to fix this? Whenever I try putting the mesh file on a hair I'm deving it comes out fine until I put the baby hair opacity and texture in. If someone has a solution I'd appreciate it.

did you make the mesh?
the original mesher may be able to fix it..
but is a little confusing .. you say it looks fine until you add the opacity.
can you post pictures..

The way to avoid this happening is to buy your mesh from a decent creator who includes full instructions, useful tips and support with each mesh? ... but for now, maybe your problem is that you didn't untick blending on the original scalp texture slot (possibly slot 04?).
