About creators of Rooms and Furniture all creators what use 3Dmax or AutoCad can upload there creations in game.
To be simple Imvu Staff mast create one door in game for all what can create there own mesh ,to be upload in game.
Or the most wise creators can take the meshes what are in shop and work to derivate them in something speciall or more intresting.
I read in forum about many whant new meshes to furniture and rooms but all whait another one to do that. DONT whait and JUST DO you. Is more practic and all can learn more things in this then to whait another one to do what can do all developers here in game.
I think all creators what use 3D Max or AutoCad can do what they whant and have many Ideeas,so use your brain and dont waste your time to have something what will not came from another one.
First what is the first problem what stop you to create what you whant here in IMVU?

FAQ:

Q: I'm a furniture/room Creator, what about me?
A: You can still apply but as you may be aware there is no place in the Next catalog for your items...yet.

Q: When will furniture and rooms be part of this as well?
A: Multiple teams at IMVU are working hard to make this happen. Please don't think we have forgotten about Room and Furniture Creators, it's complicated but it is a priority right now. We want this just as much as you do.

This should have been fixed before you opened the submissions. Great opportunity? Not at all. I will not get blinded by fake glitter to cover up the fact that ALL room, furniture and pose makers got screwed on NEXT.

Thank you!!! Evil or Very Mad =^.^=

Well you have right but is nothing lost. I see allredy in Shop many creators make derivations from what they have like mesh.
I see and maybe Im not alone in this quest , no to many new mashes in Shop. Like 3D Max nord and AutoCad user I can see what mesh kind is in shop. this period of time many whant to derivatefrom what they have and not to work many houers or days to realy create something nice and good.
To me this is the First Problem What IMVU have.
IMVU Staff just mast put the buton Your Creation to many mashes new and Uniq maybe can begin to flow in game.

Wow....this would be funny if so many people didnt lose their accounts for having copyright material in their catlogs.....typical imfu

how many people besides that one do you think submitted copyright cattys hun, hell, how many have posted their copyright music catalogs in this thread so far... & do you really think IMVU is or has someone actually looking at these catalogs product by product... You & I know better... Twisted Evil =^.^=

Just made me laugh when i read the rules of submitting ect you wont be chosen if you got lots of copyright in shop and ... Bam.. ones been picked before with shop full of it ... so rules dont apply then .. as per usual as long as it makes imvu money .... just thought id bring it to imvu attention how confusing this is to people wanting to enter .

Its NOT about meshes.

Its about there being no room and furniture catalog on NEXT.

I have a pose creator made by a developer by the name of Deliverance. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to code the sticker for the pose creator which is very good onto my web page for IMVU. As an ordinary sticker, it's impossible to use as the instant you try to move anything, the entire sticker moves so nothing much happens. Nobody I've asked has given me a clue as to how to code it into html so that the sticker will NOT move when I try to use it. Deliverance has a number of pose creators that work quite well and would be wonderful to collect if I can code them in so they do not move all over the place.

I have had a lot of questions that still remain unanswered, so my attendance at this form is sporadic at best, almost non existent for the most part. I have received no help or good advice here.
Creator Accounts: HekateAinSophAur and GwynnApNudd

.... Cath aka Hekate.

The deliverance stickers don't work on your own profile, you need to view them on someone else's. Or log out of your own. That's what I do, I just log out, view my homepage and use it, then when I'm done I log back into the website.

Xo

First off, the deliverance sticker can be used on your page by selecting the "preview" button on the top right side of your own homepage. You do not need to log off or anything else.

Secondly, people not helping is not new. I have been on here a long time and have found threads and tutorials as the most helpful. If you do your best to search through these and still need help, message me and I'll be happy to assist.

Bit the proverbial bullet and submitted mine... Although I haven't been very active with submissions for the past few months, due to health and real life issues, I hope my stuffs will be considered.
Thanks for the opportunity!

Hello Creators!

We are pleased to announce that our Featured Creators section in the IMVU Next Shop is currently accepting applications.

Applying for this is pretty easy.

Please send an email to creator.showcase@imvu.com with the following information:

1. Your avatar name and your customer ID number

2. What category in the catalog your best products fall into (you can choose more than one category, but no more than five. Categories would be like "Women's Tops" or "Men's Hair" or "Women's Accessories".

3. At least one and up to five links to your best products.
(just like this: http://pt.imvu.com/shop/product.php?products_id=167)

4. Please attach at least one and up to five images of your recent products that you feel captures who you are as a Creator.

Please double check that you have included all needed information and your pictures.

We will be accepting entries on a rolling basis, so please feel free to submit at any time.

⛔⛔⛔⛔⛔⛔⛔⛔
Some tips to improve your chances of being selected:

1. This should be obvious, but if your catalog is full of copyrighted products, you are not going to be selected for the Showcase. An example would be if you have a product called "iPhone 6".

2. We want to showcase our active Creators! Unless there is a real lack of products in a category you excel in, if you haven't submitted to the catalog in six months it's unlikely you will end up in the Showcase. (Six months is not an exact cutoff time. If you haven't submitted anything new to the catalog this year, you may want to spend some time creating before submitting to the Showcase.)

3. The things you create should just work as-is. An example of something that may be a wonderful product but not so great for the Showcase is two-tone eyes. You might be a super amazing Creator, but if you have a catalog full of two-tone eyes that only work on two-tone eye heads, this could be a frustrating experience for a new user, or anyone shopping the catalog who doesn't use one of these heads.

4. ZCD. You might have the best looking catalog on IMVU, but if it's full of Zero change derives, that is not the creativity and talent we are looking to put in the Showcase.

These are the most obvious reasons you might not make the Showcase, but not the only reasons. We will cover more later and also work on finding a way to communicate with Creators so that some who have been left out can be included going forward.

Q: What size should images be?
A: It's up to you, really. These are only used as a virtual portfolio of your work when submitting, and are not the images that will be featured.

Plenty more room for questions and answers, so ask away!

I don't use this forum much if at all. What is this "other" forum mentioned?

How does forum use increase developer level up to pro? I thought that was gained through sales and product ratings, not forum use. I'm a casual developer/deriver -I need to make credits, not money.

IMVU does NOT protect theft of original work at all when they should. Copyright protection has to be sought outside.

Nobody has helped me figure things out, questions I've asked have rarely, if ever been answered. Zhagan answered at length to a few questions I asked him.

I will also stress the importance of products such as rooms and furnishings. These are the entire basis of the environment we are in. Without rooms and furnishings, avatars no matter how pretty would say... be standing in a line on a white, black or some other colour background, or even a background image. Mostly, I do Steampunk furnishings, I do my own textures along with requests for hair meshes and jewelry. I've only JUST started on clothing. I develop on this account and my real life husband's (GwynnApNudd) IMVU account.

Anyway, the question I have is, how does forum use affect sales, ratings or get us up to pro level? Currently my husband and I are struggling to get a small farm set up, I can't buy enough credits to create the volume of what I'd like to advance my level. No, not complaining just that getting there will be slow.

I don't mesh for IMVU as the long promised code for compatibility with Daz3D PRO never happened. Animations I create using Daz3D Pro do not export well to Blender. I cannot at this point purchase 3Ds Max no matter how much I want it.

Creator Accounts: HekateAinSophAur and GwynnApNudd
Product Range:
Medieval/Fantasy Clothing (NEW - just starting)
Jewelry
Hair
Rooms (steampunk and what pleases my RL husbands heart)
Wiccan/Occult pictures/posters/books
Furnishings -Steampunk and Victorian for the most part.

Many base textures and some subjects in paintings in my catalog are painted via mouse.

The questions I put in this post are ones that have been ignored on IMVU's forums or ignored by those that develop products.
The only developer help and feedback I've received has come from Augur, Zhagan and BruttoAssassino.

Again, back to the initial question. How does this forum help me in any way? What is this "other" forum because I'm wondering if I might get some answers there that I do not get here and get a little assistance needed with working some things.

Thank you to those who take the time to read this.
.... Cath aka Hekate.

Hi, I'm writing on my phone so will be quite brief. The deliverance stickers don't work on your own profile, you need to view them on someone else's. Or log out of your own. That's what I do, I just log out, view my homepage and use it, then when I'm done I log back into the website.

As far as I'm understanding, posting in the forum can give some exposure so could slightly effect sales. Or they could be talking about when posts in the forum effect the tiers, thought that came under unused though.

It was hard for me to find information too and have mostly figured out everything on my own, with the occasional help from developer friends and forums, people are busy and can't really sit down and explain everything to everyone. There's a lot of tutorials out there, I'd suggest that. YouTube, finding links in the forums to website tutorials. But if you need help then feel free to message me and I'll try and reply if I can.

Xo

About the deliverance stickers - you can use them on your own homepage if you click the preview button on the top right of your page. This makes it view the page as if you were a visitor, thus allowing the sticker to work without moving it like in edit mode.

I am sure Puppy knows how to use the Poser Maker(s) by Deliverance. It depends on the Browser. FireFox has been having issues lately with Flash. Chrome seems to work fine.

Many questions have been posted. I wonder if any of the questions will be answered by fill-in staff or if they will be answered only by Segallion upon return. Wow, lots of Ketchup (Catch-up) to wade through when back. Hoping for a calm return for him....
