Make your particle texture 512x512. I found that even at the end of the day the textures gets resized down. It comes out more crisp

512x512 is not a valid IMVU size. Use 256x256 instead for a sharper image.

Thank you for the help, that seemed to work. I just made them smaller on a big canvas (didn't want the image particles coming out huge lol)

Hey Zara Smile Thanks for the tip.
So I used 512x512 for my particle image and strangely it worked and made the image sharper... did/does IMVU then automatically resize it to 256x256? Or will I need to do that before I submit to catalogue/peer review?

Yes, but if you see what I said, I said at the end of the day it gets resized down. And for some reason if you upload a high resolution texture, IMVU resizes it down better than what photoshop can.

If you believe the IMVU client does a better job of reducing a texture size then you are not utilizing Photoshop to it's full potential.

Hyperlink, yes, I would always recommend using valid IMVU sizing convention as you never know when a future update may break those illegal sizes.

Resizing the pixels before uploading them to imvu helps alot, imvu drastically reduces the quality of textures when they resize
