Still getting terrorized by crashes, crashes, and crashes, and did i mentioned crashes already ?

In Opengl the client crashes after a while ( short while, long while, it doesnt have a specific time ), showing up a crashreport, notified imvu, restart client.

Directx; client just poofs from my screen ( same thing as opengl, sometimes after a long while, sometimes a shirt while ), later a message appears that a problem occured in direct x and imvu switched to standard graphics next time i log in to imvu.

There is never really been a solution for this problem ( its not my computer, its a fully healthy system, all updates are there, all drivers are fresh ), and i am slowly getting tired of it, i am a patient person, but this is going around for months .

It would be nice if i can stay a hour or more in a room without getting bombed with crashes all the time. There will be a time that i remove the client from my computer and leave it like that, i am here to chat and meet people, not to have my patience tested ( and no i am not gonna use imvu next ) .

Here is my response.
*** you.

Not downloading another update until you have actually FIXED all of which you've did wrong in the countless, previous releases. Seems to me that your software engineers are either being lazy or just getting worse, as their work in my eyes is piss poor.

I just worry about the experiences I had with 529.0 and 529.2. I crashed so much on both of those versions I wanted to duct tape a pillow to my butt.

I'm not sure what changes were made from 527.0 to 529.x, but the 529.x series doesn't like my computer.

Still crashing. Been the same issues since mid october. It is not my computer. Its great..it runs everything else perfectly. However, IMVU and now IMVU Next are really starting to tick me off. Yesterday was a VERY important day for me on IMVU and I'd been looking forward to it for a while now. I logged on client hoping to have at least an hour before I crashed but nope, didn't even get 10 minutes. So then I switched to Next and had nothing but constant disconnects from the room. 5 times in one hour. My connection is stable, as I also had the fb app on my desktop and never disconnected from it. From 525 to 529 its gone further down hill for me. Sorry, I don't really care about photostream. I just want the client to work.

There images where you can watch it. So maybe there is the problem for the people who has low CPU

Direct3D 4% usage cpu

OpenGL 13% usage cpu

Here is my CPU for you make a idea Intel Core i7-6900K 3.2 Ghz

Think is a lil worsse for this CPU
Hope helps in futures updates

It has been fairly easy for me to reproduce this issue in the past. The one where the IMVU Home Tab shows an invisible avatar until you log off and back on or change your outfit. I have tried everyway I know and *now* the avatar loads every time! YaY - Seems fixed !!!

Ps> Now that I have bragged on the issue being fixed it will probably come back. LOL !~

Looking at all the issues and problems that users are having with the recent updates, (including myself) an idea struck me. Some organisations offer the ability for a technician to log on to a user’s PC and view, analyse the specific problem for themselves.

I’ve seen mentioned a lot “we can’t replicate the issue” so obviously, this is going to make it near impossible for IMVU staff / tech’s to address the problems. If staff could ACTUALLY SEE what’s going on, it would make sorting these problems out much easier and much less stressful for the user and staff.

It would obviously have to be done with the individual user’s consent. In the past I’ve had the need to contact a certain organisation regarding a problem. At the time the technician wanted access to my pc, a unique code was issued to me ensuring that the person on the other end WAS who they say they was.

Well, it was just my thoughts….

Kind regards Smile

Keeping my fingers crossed on this one even though a bit reluctant Razz

So far the only issues I have experienced are a bit of slow loading of very simple rooms and outfits.

No crashes yet Smile

Edit to Add~

I do like the placement of the Feed button next to Photos. I thought that was well thought out.

I'm hoping in the future if they client doesn't get phased out that we would have the option of moving the various buttons around (if possible) I think that would greatly enhance the user experience vs. just more and more shineys.

I HAD THE PROBLEM WITH THE WHITE BARS AND SPACES AGAIN

BUT TO FIX IT
I clicked on the windows button, typed in "settings" clicked on the first result that came up.
Clicked > Systems, then Display. Slid the thing to 100%
https://gyazo.com/b8e6749e045b0ac6f82d8ada71255da6

FOR 'ORIENTATION' I HAD TO CLICK THE ARROW NEXT TO 'LANDSCAPE' AND CHANGE TO 'PORTTRAIT' AND THEN BACK TO 'LANDSCAPE' BECAUSE THE APPLY BUTTON WAS GREYED OUT AND UNCLICKABLE. THEN HIT 'APPLY'

Then I deleted all traces of imvu via control panel. Restarted my computer. Reinstalled imvu. & now it's fine.

Note: from having changed to 100% everything on my computer is smaller. But you can go back to settings again and change to 150% WITHOUT HITTING APPLY OR RESTARTING
Downside, the client might be a little fuzzy. You can try 125% if you want. But either way NO WHITE SPACE. (: ... you'll have to keep changing it to which ever % you choose everytime you turn your computer on though :/

Why do I have to update to 530? it only makes me work harder trying to save an outfit is beginning to take the fun out of dressing up or creating for that matter. I save an outfit, it says default. Wonderful! right? Wrong!!! I go into one of my rooms, I'm wearing the outfit I saved before that one I just made default. So tell me how is it that before I updated to this 530 garbage, I don't use next, I have no interest in playing games. My interest is getting into IMVU and shopping, dressing up, and creating a few things. I don't need next for that. Why can't we keep the version that best works for each individual? If we aren't using Next, why should we be subjected to all the bugs and bs that it is making us go through? I know IMVU could care less what I have to say. But In hopes that they would read this. Let us decide what we want for a change. Now older versions are obsolete. So we have no choice but have lousy performance and lousy programming. To make a couple coins in some game? IMVU we make you the money, If I can't create or buy or save an outfit, how are you making money?
