"They" are the forum moderators. Through Varsha, we are making sure that everyone gets their opinion, questions, and even rants heard... as long as they don't break the forum rules all that bad.

This is simply a reflection that IMVU wants you to have your say.

Much respect to you B.B and the other Mods, but I have to laugh at the last line of this statement. See, IMVU wants us to have our -say-, sure, but we don't what to keep repeating words for this say, we want actions. Will IMVU start reflecting changes from the piles and piles of voices to give a medium here? Going onto the 8th thread, I'd have to say at this point, those chances are extremely thin. We can say all we want, but to be heard is a totally different matter entirely.

Imvu wants us all to vent and get it out of our systems, hoping we all just stfu and drop it eventually. One more thing swept under that rug. Laughing

With all these problems arising regarding the new system....I'm not sure if this been asked and answered but can someone tell me if this verification process is done by real people and not through a computer?

If so....are they really going through every single catalog?

I feel sorry for those that has been told they were verified then received to say they weren't. Maybe it could be something from the catalog? I don't know.
Wish they would have let you know what's wrong instead of sending out an automatic message.

IMVU does need to hear from us. They're not looking for MAJOR policy changes - that's not reasonable for us to expect in the first place. What they need from us is feedback about how what we've got NOW is working. Feedback like "please pay us cash for the derive fees" and "let's rethink that 30 dollar fee for multiple transfers".

They aren't changing the big picture - but they ARE listening when it comes to the small details.

Much respect to, and I hope this doesn't come off rude and offensive.. but most of the people who wants to state their anger/frustration/opinions are highly effected by this MAJOR changes. Unlike you, not everyone can benefit and be satisfied with how imvu is working.

AGREED. But, with many of us refusing to buy credits from Imvu, they will not benefit and be satisfied. We are what makes them. Without us, there is no them.

So you would trust a fax and not the net. Interesting. What about crossed lines. At least with getting verified for this new process the information is encrypted.

I actually prefer person to person transactions meaning I would rather have a rep at my home to go over the legal documentation then trust sending private and sensitive information over the net. I understand why they are doing it this way do to the mass and international users, but there should be other viable options available for those whom do not trust nor want their information out on the super highway. I'm just giving those options. My motto is its better to be safe then sorry.

AGREED.

I'm not offended! Simply because I accept that these changes are happening doesn't mean I'm happy about it. It affects me greatly, as well. It has significantly impacted people I care about. Somehow accepting a change has been translated into being happy about it - I'm not.

I never said anyone shouldn't speak up about their anger or frustrations. I was merely responding to the remark that IMVU isn't listening. They are. We've already seen a few changes since this began, was my point. I just don't think expecting a reversal of this entire system is going to be something we're going to see.

*mod hat off*

I understand completely everyone's frustration. But if you complain to any business, they don't have to agree to everyone's... or even the majority of suggestions, complaints or ideas.

That IMVU is allowing you to be heard at all is better than a lot of places, in my opinion.

anywhoo....

I agree they don't, but sometimes an explanation for those that are still seeking answers would be nice
