I'm all for any idea that doesn't leave developers sales suffering, since they work extremely hard on their creations so it wouldn't be fair to them.

That being said, I'd personally be happy to be able to donate to new users that are 10-15 days old as long as there is a new tab or something we can click on to find out who're new at the time and as long as it's updated. It's pretty cool idea about the tokens.

Also I'd like to see another option that would let you delete as well which still doesn't affect in anyway the sales. Considering that over the years IMVU has refunded some products that no longer work for whatever reason, yet those products remain in the inventory or some products that are now hidden for whatever reason as well.

Even if the delete option was introduced first then later on another option to donate due to the fact that there will always be cloths that people will no longer want/use anymore.

Let's hope something is done, would be fantastic if there was!

You can delete or better words hide and un-delete/un-hide items from your inventory . Click the ( I ) when in imvu program then it says hide . Sorry if you already knew that or if so i'm misreading that and thank you for the reply notes are very much appreciated .

No need to delete items just hide it, that's what the hide option is there for. Refund will obviously be abused and deleting it afterwards is stupid, and a waste of credits. Common sense people.

Hello, dear friends! I also agree on this. Purchasing products from catalog, it seems to be a great idea. Let's hope something majestic is done! Kindest Regards, http://bigpaperwriter.com/blog/agree-or-disagree-essay

I believe they should have a revoke/refund access. Like If the creator didn't wanted to let the person have the product, they should be able to revoke the product but they must give the credits back and that person can't buy that specific (not all the product from the creator) product from the creator until the creator feel comfortable with letting them have that product.

OR

Some type of way for the creator to gift custom products for specific people and not other getting the access to that product even if it's on the shop.

For example, Let just say IMVU wanted to gift a blue shirt to Staff members. Every time they have to gift the shirt, they will have to take the Display Only off just to gift it to that person BUT that means it can be available in the shop for other to buy that aren't staff. If there some type of feature like "Creator Gift" where the creator can choose who can have the product and don't have to worry about others be able to buy that product.

Another huge example is how IMVU gifting process work for each VIP, AP, or everyone features.

Of course if you don't have that access one of them, you won't get the specific gift they are sending to those people who have those features.

Selling really shouldn't even be a consideration, I work hard to create my product why should someone else get to sell it and make money off my work? As mentioned already: the developer owns the product and all rights to it.

Refunds will just hurt sales. For instance, a 660cr top, that only gives about 100cr profit to the developer. The refund would come from the developer not IMVU which makes the profit -560cr. Even if only the developer#s profit of 100cr were to be refunded that's still 100cr they're losing.

Trading basically is giving the product for free. 2 people having the product but only the sale from one, that's not fair. If the second person wants my product, they need to buy it also, not just get it for free (or at the cost of one of their inventory items) from trading.

Back to my original point: all we need is to be able to delete. If we don't want it any longer: trash it. Removed from our inventories and no hurts to sales. And yes, I understand hackers but we still need the delete.

As a so so Dev myself She is well on point with a lot of what she had said. Why not just be able to deleate it ,

Dont think its fair that devs / creators should be made to buy back anything, the reason the shop has " try ' is so can see what you getteng.
Regarding the change in items, if i see one item of mine hasnt sold ill update it a lil or improve it, if its been sold ill leave it alone so others dont sufeer from the change. If its a mesh, that ill only change if theres a problem with it, but uslluay i test it with a friend, if errorw come up i fiw them.....

we spend a lot of time making items for all on here, in rl world you cant return the stuff after purchase unless you have a good reason. Also we dont get full price of the item as displayed, theres a certain amount that goes to IMVU, then to mesher then to Dever or seller...
hope this helps a lil

Maybe instead of selling our items for credits, let us resell for dev tokens or come up with shop tokens to purchase things we want.

As for the "return" to creator and creators having to buy back their products, give refunds...NOPE. As stated that's why there is a TRY button. I'm just as guilty for buying stuff and then not liking it, but that's not the creators fault, was my own.

And was pointed out to me also in another post on this subject, that if imvu did decide to do a yard sale type of thing, we as creators would lose out on profits, so I retract what I said...best advice, if you're in shop, try it on, think if you will wear it often and if you love it. THEN buy it or wishlist it. After that, its urs to keep or hide from inventory. (I keep forgetting we can hide things too in our inventory...serious blonde moment)

No to letting people sell any items which were not made by them. If you wish to sell items and make credits from those sales then you should become a developer.

No to letting people trade things too. As mentioned, that will hurt sales for developers as people will trade back and forth. The same goes for giving away items, it will just serve to hurt sales.

A delete option would be fine though. I also wouldn't mind people being given a small number of promo credits, or dev tokens by IMVU for deleting things. I also wouldn't be oppose to a "gifting out of inventory" option where you can gift something from your inventory to someone else. The idea being that it is removed from your inventory and sent to theirs. IMVU could incentivise this by offering a discount towards the cost of gifting it. I've seen 10% off sales for AP users before, so I assume that is the biggest discount imvu can give without cutting into the devs portions.
