FAO Varsha.

My 2 IMVU accounts have been wrongly disabled. Zarreenaa & ZareenaxV2. After going through the correct channels &, submitting well over 25 cases/help tkts but, not getting any help from CS, i'm posting on here.
IMVU have told me that my accounts are linked to a user (now disabled), [removed name]. Her real name is Keyondra &, i thought she was a good friend. This [removed name] bought credits from a re seller then, did something called a 'chargeback'. I'm in the UK so, i didn't know what that was but, i now know she cancelled payments to this re seller.
Anyway, because IMVU are saying that my accounts are linked to this [removed name]? I've been disabled? The only 'link' i can think of is that when i was new to IMVU &, inexperienced in making 'chat rooms' i offered this girl who, i thought was a good friend, credits to make the room for me. So, she signed into my ZareenaxV2 account &, i signed into the account she had at the time. Not her [removed name] account. I didn't know that i could only transfer 10k per day at that time &, i had offered to give her 50k to make the room for me & also, make a profile picture.
She did the room for me then said she needed the all of the credits. So, to buy some time for myself i made an order for the outstanding 40k knowing that my order would go for 'further review' which, would take 2/3 day's to sort out. I also knew that IMVU would ask for a copy of my id & a scanned copy of my credit card because my details wouldn't have matched up with her account. I had absolutely no intention of buying her the credits on my card & there was no way that i would have given her a copy of my id or, my credit card. I did this because by the time IMVU had reviewed my order i would have had the time to transfer the outstanding 40k in credits that, i had purchased directly from IMVU from my main account to her account which, is what i did.

When IMVU disabled my 2 accounts i did everything IMVU asked me to do including contacting this re seller. I explained everything &, initially, the re seller was very helpful. I had never purchased credits from this re seller &, none of my avatar names were known to them.
Then, i recieved an e-mail from this re seller telling me that they had contacted IMVU &, a manager had told them that all of my IMVU accounts &, this [removed name] accounts were controlled by the same person? ie me? That is ridiculous. Surely all IMVU have to do is check the IP for my accounts &, the IP for this [removed name] to see that we are completely different people.
I am a white woman living in the UK &, this other user that cancelled her payments is black &, lives in the USA.

So, IMVU & this re seller are saying that i cannot have my 2 accounts re activated unless i pay back what this other user [removed name] stole? Why should i have to pay? I never stole anything. Also, IMVU are saying that purchases have been made on my credit card for this [removed name] account. That is not true. I have never purchased anything for this other user [removed name] using my credit card. I did give her VIP for her old account as a birthday present using a UK pre paid card. I did not give the card number to her until IMVU had sanctioned this. Yes, i have helped her out in the past with gifts & i also used to transfer credits to her old account because like i said, i thought she was a good friend & i knew that she didsn't have much money to spend on IMVU. So, all i'm guilty of is treating this user [removed name] like a daughter. Even if i had purchased credits, bundles etc for this user using my credit card which, i didn't, that's not fruadulant. IMVU activley encourage users to gift credits, bundles etc to friends!

All the credits i have i purchsed legally & directly from IMVU. I have bank statements & purchase receipts that can prove this. Also, i have never cancelled a payment. I can prove that too.I now feel that i am banging my head against a brick wall trying to get help from IMVU CS. I spent over 2hr's composing my last case/help ticket only to recieve yet another 1 paragraph 'standard issue' reply? It's very upsetting & disheartening. I don't even think that CS actually read what i submit?
I have spent a lot of my real money & time on these 2 accounts &, do not want to loose them, but, i don't see why i should pay this re seller anything because i never stole from them. I feel that because they obviously haven't a hope in h*ll off getting anything back from this other user l3ookie that, they are making me the scapegoat.

I know i was naive in letting another user sign into 1 of my accounts but, i thought she was a good friend. Also, i know lot's of people on IMVU that regurlaly sign into eachothers accounst. Ok, i know IMVU advise against this but, again, it's not fraudulant.

Sorry for such a long post but, i'm at my wits end abt this. I'll have to post again because i forgot to get any of my 'help ticket' numbers. I've also been to the IMVU welcome room to try & get help with this matter but, no one is ever there?

I know Varsha/IMVU staff read the forums. So if you read this Varsha, would you PLEASE! message me.

Many thanks,
Zarreenaa/DazziDopee.

Staff do not handle personal account issues in the forums. Sorry. You have to stay with a help ticket about this issue. Help tickets are the only way of dealing with personal account issues such as disabling.

Also, please do not name names in a negative light in the forums. It is against forum guidelines to do so, no matter what was done. You should also know that giving your password to your account to some one else is against the TOS of IMVU. This includes using some one else's password to sign on to their account. It can be enough to have both accounts disabled.

Just a little hint - Only ever make/use one help ticket per issue. Making more than one help ticket slows down the help system for everyone. Also, help ticket go to different staff that will not know about the other tickets about the same thing, which then just means you get the same answer over and over instead of moving on form the start.
