I have really enjoyed my IMVU experience and am open to welcoming and mentoring new comers. What is the procedure for joining the Welcome Center.

We were all new once and we should give back. Lots of members helped me and my experience has been positive and rewarding as a consequence of their kindness.

OMG a IDEA !!!!
How about developers make something special underivable that IMVU can gift to all the new people like a old fation WELCOME WAGON !
Imvu in thier cheepness gives new people almost nothing so why not have developers gift through IMVU

I think this is a grand idea! I would gladly participate in a program designed to help new members furnish their rooms , get a larger living space, or dress their new avatar.

The names of the rooms are a bit misleading, they are really more help/where to get information rooms than meet and greet rooms. If you are looking for more of a meet and greet experience many devs and users host their own.

If you want to help out in the IMVU hosted ones just show up and ask the moderator(s) on duty if they need any help. (You can ID them by the star by their name if you click on their avie in the room.) For the General Welcome Room you will have to have a broad knowledge of user related issues, the Creator Welcome Room is for content creation questions.
