I think it might be a neat idea to be able to De-node people in your room.
And by that I mean it would remove the person from whatever node they are on and place them back on the default entrance nodes of the room.
IMVU could just let us click their avi and have a de-node button like the boot and gift buttons.
This could be useful with people who have roleplaying rooms and only want employees on certain nodes. (Such as dance nodes in AP clubs)
If a person enters the room and doesn't know the rules they can be moved from the restricted node without having to be booted. _________________ Let IMVU know what they SHOULD do to make VIP BETTER instead of forcing it on Devs |

so are u meaning like a bump button? and i can see it kinda getting abused sadly. like say if a room owner wanted their friend to stand next to them but someone else was there they could use it to bump them and have their friend stand there which was a problem in the past owo. but i'm a pessemest. _________________

Also what about people who add AP products into their rooms and i mean GA rooms . I can easily see GA room owners with AP stuff laughing at unsuspecting people while they make them do embarrasing things without the people even knowing.
This would just be a good thing for the people that get all pissy when someone sits on their precious thrones _________________ If at first you don't succeed , hide the evidence <3 |

There would be no choice of where you put the person in your room. You would not be able to move them from one node to another. So you would not be able to move non-AP users onto AP spots.
It would just send them back to the default nodes.
I see it as a gentle alternative to booting people if the person doesn't know they are not supposed to be in a certain place.
Especially roleplay rooms. With certain nodes that are only supposed to be used by employees or people who paid for something.
You can roll your eyes at people wanting to have a spot only they can use all you want. But would it not be better to simply move the person instead of outright booting them? _________________ Let IMVU know what they SHOULD do to make VIP BETTER instead of forcing it on Devs |

| it would be easier just to ask the person to move to another spot. if they refuse then they are being disrespectful which is a good reason to boot. |

Which is why I specified that it can be used when the person in the spot is still loading, lagging, or afk. Sometimes people are just not in a position to move themselves. _________________ Let IMVU know what they SHOULD do to make VIP BETTER instead of forcing it on Devs |

I agree kozzywolf. Simply asking them to move is the best way. They don't, you can boot.
If the person is loading or lagging I think it's pretty rude to just bump them aside. Talk about having no patience. I certainly don't agree to the suggestion, if it's based on these ideas of use. _________________

Why not, after all? This would give a good alternative to booting and show that room mods/owners mean what they say. _________________

i find a boot rude just because someone is on a place they are not allowed to stand... its a room people, its not your holy property
maybe its just me, but i find it crazy that people take a simple node so serious. if someone wants to sit on a throne for example, just let 'em. what can possibly go wrong? (im being serious, what can go wrong?)
but i am probably the only one who thinks like thats.. i see thousands of rooms with such rules. and sadly they are all taking rules a bit too serious.
a simple bump is much more friendly then a boot. so why not? |

I like this idea. ONLY IF IT'S A ROOM OWNER POWER WITH THE ABILITY TO GRANT TO MODS.
That way some of the Overpowered I'm a mod I own you mods don't get to abuse it. _________________

Yeah. I think IMVU should add at least two levels of Mods in rooms (mods and admins)
With Admins for tasks that might require a bit more responsibility and such.
Or course, it would be all for not if the room owners just gave everyone admin instead of questioning whether or not the person will abuse powers. _________________ Let IMVU know what they SHOULD do to make VIP BETTER instead of forcing it on Devs |

| ahh ok. I think i got a better idea on what ur wanting to implement here. so say I'm on a brb for longer than expected, u as the room owner (or a mod) can bump me back to the default node where I originally entered at. this way here another person can use the spot without me hogging it while being on brb. |

I just remove and replace whatever they're standing on. If it's not a default node, then it's either a standing spot or furniture piece. This bumps them to the default nodes. It's a little tedious for big rooms, but hey, it works. I don't think a feature is very worthwhile in the long run. They have much higher priorities. _________________ "You always take shots from folks who just don't get the joke." |
