If from IMVU, purchases take up to 2 working days for fraud and credit checks. If you do not receive the credits after that time, IMVU may need you to supply further proof of identity.
If the name on your account doesn't match the name on your credit card or paypal account, or if you have used the same card for other accounts or if they are doing a spot check they will pause the transaction until supplied proof that the card/paypal account is being used by its owner.
Until the transaction is completed, your bank holds the money to one side and will refund it if the purchase is stopped completely.
Click on help, click request support, click submit a case.
Choose billing as the category.

fyi this happened to me a couple of months ago and I have been here several years and they should know who I am by now, but once I had filed the help ticket and jumped through the appropriate hoops the credits arrived in another day.
It's annoying, but it is IMVU trying to make certain that someone's CC is not being used without their knowledge or consent. It's for our safety so we have to bear with it.
