|
|
| I recently purchased my VIP back in order to play walk off with my friends and family, however it does not even show up on my chat client since I did the recent update to version 472.2. I submitted a ticket and was told to re-install and still there is no change.. no walk off at all. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? |

I'm happy that u launching walkoff only for VIP-ers.
It makes VIP more valuable.
And I was enjoying playing walkoff.
But lately, it is kinda become boring. There is no level in that game.
Better you make level-by-level.
And I will very glad if you keep adding more games exclusive for VIP-ers.
Please add more interesting games that tempted other to joining VIP.
Thank you. |

i agree, some sort of level system would be nice.
Also cool if you could share (pulse, or some other way) a win with your friends.
Also be nice if we can pick how many style points we play for. 50 for short game, 100 for normal, 200 for long and 300 for epic battle.
Also cool if there were some more powerups with more interesting effects.
I've said this from the start, even while in beta. It would be cool if we could play in groups, where 2 people play and the rest spectate/chat. Then the winner stays on and the next in queue comes up to play.... I very rarely chat 1:1 which makes walk off kinda ... useless... as a chat aide at least. _________________

Personally I have no use for Walk Off (as I never was into such online games) and don't see it as adding any real value to VIP. |

I tested this game with Brett.
It is a glorified version of Bejeweled that I used to play on Facebook a long time ago.
I have played 4 games since it went live. I only did this to be fair in my critique of the game.
It is old news.
It is already boring.
It is unnecessary IMHO in this chat platform.
Playing the game, you do not have time to "chat".
I was of the understanding that IMVU is a 3d Chat program. Not Zynga. Not Facebook. Not Frenzoo.
Since the release of the client versions that support this latest product, the client is lagalicious. It is crashalicious. It is a pain-in-the-ass-alicious.
Resources might be better served in focusing on IMVU being a chat site again. Remember where you came from. _________________

I play a lot of walk off, mostly because I'm sadly addicted to bejewelled, which it reminds me of. However, what I find most frustrating is that people will leave before the game begins because they are using it as a "chat roulette" service. In one case I was queued with the same person 3 times who left the game 3 times when she saw it was me. I'm there to play the game, not "pick up".
I would like to see the following improvements made.
1. GA rated clothing only allowed
2. Leader board tables. Can include things like, biggest point cascade, or winning streak.
3. Game hierarchy. i.e. if you're good player you get put against players of a similar level (i.e. Arena mode, where you're put against progressively better players based on your win/loss ratio)
4. Cascades are more complicated. At the moment, a person can jump upwards of fifty points purely because of blind cascade luck.
5. Heavier penalties for skipping turns. (yes I know some are due to lag, but that's very rare)
6. Incentive. I'm happy to play for top scores, a leader board will give me more incentive to play. Other people have suggested a nominal monetary reward as incentive.
I appreciate the addition of walk off, certainly I find it fun to play when I'm waiting around for friends to come online (time differences can be irritating). I find it frustrating because the game has reached it's "peak" in a very short space of time, there doesn't seem to be much more to it and I'm tired of players "rage quitting" before the end of the game because they're down a large amount of points. _________________ Do you believe in forever?

| I tried to have a good attitude about it - but I don't understand what this game has to do with IMVU? |

Statistics! Ratings (or rankings)!
More stuff to unlock, I unlocked stuff too quickly.
I'm just suggesting these as reasons because I want to have a reason to go on it more . |

Agreed, why not just add this in with Games, why make it a button in the IMVU Client? _________________ HIATUS - I WILL BE GONE FROM 07.05.12 - TO 8.20.12 or longer, I am moving.

I have no use of a knock-off Bejeweled game - I play Bejeweled either on my PC (the first 2 that were released from Pogo) or I play on Pogo (they've got either 3 or 4 versions of the game). I only think of IMVU as a 3d chat site - NOT A GAMING SITE. Gaming and 3d chatting don't go together like peanut butter and jelly. I'd love to see the focus return to 3d chatting only. _________________
