|
|
now I have read some forum post on this before, but however I could not make sense of any of them... I need help, and I am in search for it as a creator. I wanna try and make Ears, Tails, and other certain products into any skin stuff. (like how they have certain items that you can wear and match your skin, if example needed.. please ask.) but I wanna try and learn.. and can not find a picture visual tutorial or video on you tube to help me in this. I just got a ton of words, and was hoping someone can help me. so if anyone can, please help me... I wanna learn majorly.
thanks for your time, to anyone who reads or replies to this as well. I just want to let you know I am very thankful for any help I can retrieve. _________________ OFS <3 |

When you mesh your item you want to set its marital ID to that of either the head or the body texture. (Ears would use the head, tail would use the body.)
Then you want to UV map it so it uses the most appropriate part of either the head or body texture so it will blend into the skin well. You are not aiming for detail just a small area for a color match.
When in Create go to settings and make sure xrfs are set to visible.
Apply your mesh then assign it the existing head or body xrf from the xrf drop-down.
If it is an already existing mesh you could try setting it to skin composite with an all black opacity map, but if it was not mapped for that kind of use you could have some very undesirable or even AP results. _________________ Showroom Public Room! Click Banner for Tutorials!

I get what you are saying to an extent, but I don't follow fully. I am trying to understand and figure out what I am to do, but I don't... is there a way you could make a tutorial for this? maybe something to show me step by step, or how I can change things to make it work. I really would love it if I could learn. _________________ OFS <3 |

How to assign it in the existing head or body xrf and i couldn't see the xrf drop-down. Sorry if i sounded a bit noobie, i haven't use this new Create for ages

You don't upload your mesh and delete the existing one ... you replace the existing one with your mesh.
Swap the default top XMF for your XMF. _________________ ~The Unconventional Devs~
