| I see someone is selling a Bundle and it is in the spotlight ... but they have been in breach of TOS a few times and have numerous complaints against them by Customers ... does IMVU look the other way in this instance? If so, I would like to know where in TOS it facilitates that. Thanks! |

Yeah thats a good question. When did IMVU start promoting thieves? Mesh and texture thiefs getting IMVU promotion but hard working dev's being declined the opportunity...smh _________________ TIME FOR ZERO TOLERANCE

I think they are trying to tell us that it's good to be a thief. _________________

I don't think we're supposed to talk about it? The other thread seems to be gone. _________________

Why is that? Seems to me its a good subject and many would want answers....how does someone with TOS violations rate IMVU promotion? _________________ TIME FOR ZERO TOLERANCE

Maybe more stolen products = more $$$ for IMVU. It's the only thing I can think of. Cheating is always rewarded here. _________________

Well at any rate its not right....you have numerous talented people on this site that have had promotions declined by IMVU and yet they promote several bundles that are stolen mesh and textures. Dozens of TOS violations. What has happened to "Quality" and what has happened to the selection process if they are not researching these things before making a choice? _________________ TIME FOR ZERO TOLERANCE

Remember that one bundle they gifted to everyone that made people carsick? That right there is proof they randomly select things without looking into it. _________________

It is disheartening when mesh and texture thieves, devs that are here just to make a quick buck and really don't care about the game are rewarded by IMVU.
Then those devs that really care about the game, invest time and effort making it better and are not just about the money are pushed aside.
ON occasion talented devs that care get their opportunity, it seems lately that is not often.
Shame on IMVU for not doing a better job protecting their customers and ours. |

I have four letters for you all....
D M C A
It's a process, it's the law - and it is the system that creators have to live with.
Original owners have to file to get a takedown.
IMVU takes the stuff down.
If there is a dispute, the original owner has to take the accused to court.
(Global You's here)
Unless you know (and knowledge means proof, not heresay) that someone has been judged by a court to be guilty - you are just blowing wind, and/or being petty and foolish.
You don't have to like it, you don't have to agree with it, but it is the law, and the rules that IMVU has to live under, as well as every creator of products and content on IMVU.
If you don't like it - don't blame IMVU, who is following the law - work to change the laws. _________________ As sexy and suave as Sean Connery. CS told me so! |
