New 3D Game from IMVU – WALK OFF!

I have tried to play it with a friend of mine. I like the idea of my avatar walking and making moves next to the game. But the game itself runs extremely slow.

I like playing jewels and games similar to that, but I don't like it that I am forced to use the client for it.

I also would like to see this game being placed in the games section of the client, not having it's own button on the first page of the menu

Loved the game, but the invite a friend feature must be on the fritz at the moment.

I love bejeweled so this is the game for me since its so much like it! It says sneak preview.I hope that dosent mean the game will be removed after a while since im already addicted to it and btw the people saying they hate it are the ones that are losing at it. I think it was a good idea finally something i love to play on imvu! Smile

I personally find the game alright. Its an interesting twist on an old game. Easy to pick up, hard to master. I do like the idea of having a game on the client that will allow you to play with other people. If there are others that come out, that would be great! It adds a little incentive to join. HOWEVER. I think its a nice thing for VIPs to get to test it out. HOWEVER. I don't think it should stay a VIP perk forever. Perhaps if this goes over well, more games can be made and as new ones come out, they can be the VIP exclusives and the older ones can be made available to the general public.

On the note of AP games, really, what could you make for that? Strip poker? o.0 I don't really know what could be made for AP people... while I agree that the AP thing is losing its lure as of late games is not the way to go for me. Maybe more chat rooms? Some other options? Such like that.

You need to get your programmers asses in gear. If my programming teacher was the programming coordinator he woulda fired all of your asses!

MEMORY LEAKS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE AND NEVER SHOULD BE!
I turn "walk off" off and it only frees up 100 Megs... its like you ppl dont even know how to deallocate memory at all!

IMVU takes up more memory than ANY program i know at this point.... i could probably run three instances of skyrim with less difficulty...

I have an ASUS republic of gamers gaming laptop, and for once i experienced lag that wasn't due to internet connection... imvu had a massive frame rate drop a few times while playing that game...

I'm getting tired of having to help tune up computers for friends that run everything else perfectly fine but freeze up running "a simple chat program"....

To the programmers of IMVU:
Get your asses in gear! Your a disgrace to programmers everywhere by letting these errors and memory leaks continue to get out of hand!

Well, I'm a vip, updated imvu client to the latest... But the game still doesn't work. It keeps loading. :\ I really wanted to try this. Hmph.

"Walk Off" doesn't even show up at all when i open my chat client up…hate how its VIPs only gets a sneak peek at it…-_- while the rest of us has to wait for however many weeks for it to become available for EVERYONE to play… Rolling Eyes

There was some skipping of music and such, but not enough to lag the game horribly.
