Add a sent tab to the client

I would like to request a new feature to be added to the IMVU client. The Feature I think should be added is a sent tab to the messages feature. This was people can see what they wrote. Thanks alot!

What do yo all think?

Lots of people have asked for this time and time again. IMVU stated that they were going to do this, but that was quite a while ago. Anytime they say they will do this, it could take years before we get it.

That would be heaven...what is so hard about adding an archive for sent messages. I constantly forget what I write to all of my friends about.~le sigh~

Yeah, there needs to be a 'sent' tab for sure, it's so annoying when I send someone a message, then they don't reply for two months, then I get their message and am like, 'what...' Defiantly needs to be implemented.

This has been asked for by many people, including myself.
It's not something we want.. more like something we NEED. It doesn't seem like a huge feature.. but imvu puts the more complex new features in a more important spot than this.. so we could possibly never get it. I don't know why it wasn't included in the first client and beyond. Confused

This option was listed in the survey IMVU sent out a few days ago. It was a check list of three things you'd like to see added to IMVU the most.

Including options like customizing your text color in a chat and being able to report offenders in a room even after they've left (This is a big pet peeve since someone can come in, screw with your guests, and then leave before they're reported, thus getting out of any penalty).

So if it's still available, and you haven't done the survey yet, go do it and check on the sent inbox. BE PART OF THE PROCESS! Such as it is...

I think one of the problems IMVU has right now is that only the recipient has the ability to delete the message, and once it's deleted it's gone forever. In order to implement the Outbox (the right way), sending a message would have to create 2 copies, one for the recipient's Inbox, and another for the sender's Outbox, just like real e-mail.

Actually I don't know if it's true or not, because there might just be a "deleted" flag on the message, and those messages are still on the server, merely archived. In that case, there could be 2 flags instead of 1, one for recipient delete and another for sender delete. That would be the reasonable approach.
