i had a bug when i created my fake nails.. 2 of them went through the fingers.. now look at these pictures:
only on left hand from physique to editable mesh a finger moves.. as you can see i tried to align my nail, but it pass trough the finger when avatar moves hands in some ways (i tested animation on 3dstudio and worked fine..) but in the client i got this bug..) i moved my nail but when avatar opens hands you can see the nail not aligned like others.. how can i solve this problem? am i the only one? _________________

so do you mean that your female weight pose master doesn't have that problem? I also downloaded last file form the site..! (it moves also without my nails..) just switching from physique to editable mesh..!
the right hand works perfectly instead.. _________________

i think yes.. but i saw that finger in 2 positions so i tried first to weight the nail when it is aligned to the "Physique" nail and on the client it goes through the finger.
Then i aligned the nail in "editable mesh" position and on the client i can see the nail not aligned..! T_T _________________

did u weigh the nail to this bone?
i know its on the opposite hand but its the same finger weigh that whole nail and assign it to that bone the valiue of it should be 1.0 and move the animation slider and see if it does the same thing _________________

that image confused me a little bit.. yes i did it.. Do you mean the yellow line with * at the end of the line, like the yellow line you can see here on the avatar neck? (i followed this tutorial)
I'd like to know if i am the only one that sees left finger moving from physique to editable mesh.
can any of you test it please? _________________

Dear Marilena
This finger in the left hand has physic problem and this problem exist in the original IMVU file ,,, for me oftenly when goes down the physic i face problems that's why i hate physic and i prefer skin modifier , although it causes problems too when you go down it but less than those physic cuases
and the weird thing , many problems i don't find any solutions for them or logical reason neither and when i try to re-do what i did , it just works fine and i dunno why so plz try to do this nail again , i know that's sucks and boring but auctially meshing for IMVU needs undying patience and hard work _________________

if the nails are separate object from the hand then yes delete physic and add skin then select edit envelope , check the vertex mode and add the finger bones in the stack ,,, select all vertices go down check rigid and uncheck normalize then add value 1 for the weight ... Hope this is helpful

it's not a matter of how they acting but how and when thy causes problems ... for me i faced many problems with physic with no reasons and when i just re do what i did it works fine ... it's not always logical problems it's max bugs.. and about these bugs , the skin modifier always has less problems .. physic is too old in max and skin is better at least for me and i can bet the redoing solving many problems when you can not find any logical reasons for the problems ... _________________
