Outfit Challenge

Soooo... anyone knows how can I take a decent photo for the Outfit Challenge? I mean... I used to do it with *saveOutfit, but doesn't work now, and if I click on 'Save Outfit' it just takes a whole body no pose photo...

After you use the saveOufit button and it takes a pic with default pose and not back ground you then have to wait for it to load in your outfit section of the client. Once the pic is there then you hover you mouse over the pic. A blue circle with i in the middle will show up in the top corner of the pic. Click on it. You will get a pop up box with options. One being edit pic. Click that and it will allow you to take a new pic for that outfit.

I hope it is okay to post this question here since it is also about the Outfit Challenge.

How do people get backgrounds for their images? I read the rules and it says no photo editing allowed, so I am confused as to how the avatars are shown in scenes; since in my client the Edit Outfit screen has a standard colored backdrop. Any tips?

Jenny... you can find all types of furniture product to use in your DOC pictures, and put them in place you want with your IMVU tools in your room.

Here are some examples:

Backgrounds & Filler in shop

Effects in shop I highly recommend BJTk and Butterfly Effects in this category

Ambient Rooms I recommend Rhiannane's Rooms Wink

Portable Lights And TheMouseMaiden for this one

When I try to submit a photo, it says there's a hidden product, but how can I know which one? :S

Hey IshKaulitz, sorry I didnt see this early... weekends are kinda crazy for me at home lol

When you are going to submit your entry, sometimes it says "Hidden Product" that means, that a product you are wearing in our outfit was hidden in the catalog for the developer or IMVU, and not available for buying.

When you are chosing your outfit, make sure every item is available in the catalog, what I do is, once I have my outfit, give right click on the 3D window and click on "Everything in Scene", and I check there my outfit items, one per one, when I see some of those are not available in the catalog, I replace that item with other. It could be the hair, head, skin, or even the avatar.

I too hope I am ok posting here, not sure what to do. I am new to entering the imvu outfit Challenge. I have tried three times to enter..I keep getting denied cuz they say my outfit title should be creative, well, I have changed everything I can find to a name of my choice and I still get those messages..its very frustrating, can anyone help me please, thank you:)

IMVU just let me waste my credits and didn't even tell me what qualifies and doesn't. Now I have three or two useless contest entries that didn't even get entered and I never got even an error message for. I am out of credits and a little ticked... no more so. IMVU... I do not envy you for being so rude to not even include basic know-how on how to enter under entries and to not even message me that the contest entries were void. Thanks... really. You are undead to me. It's not dead but it's close and maybe even worse. VIP customer must mean virtually impaired person- lets waste away their credits. you can at the very least allow me to enter tomorrows with my buy-able version. But alas, so many credits down the drain. Thanks guys and gals tho for being more helpful than staff by posting on this board.
