Question Help With A Name Change

I don't know if this is in the right forum, and sorry if its not, but with the whole new name change request on the help ticket thing. I know how it works. I know that the person has to be off that account for at least over a year and it has to be guest. But if the person hasnt been on the account for like 6 years, shouldnt we be able to take the name even if its not guest? I just don't fully get it. D: I want the name Cub so badly. And the person hasnt been on since 2006. So like, I dont find it far is all. Is there any way of getting it or no? :[

Nope. They paid to own that name.
Unless if they happen to change it, it will be theirs forever.

Like Nom said, no matter how long someone has been gone, you have no right to take something another has paid for, it's pretty much theft no matter how you look at it.

You say it's not fair that you can't get this name Cub. How would you feel, if you paid for your name and were told at the time, it would be safe forever, then someone else came along and was given your name? No matter how long you were gone, you wouldn't like it and would want a refund of your money I am sure.
