Our goal is to have our community members buy or gift at least 250,000 unique virtual products from our IMVU catalog. Our current record is 170,000 unique products sold in one day, and we are confident that with your help, we can make our goal of 250,000 unique items sold on Sunday, April 1st (24 hour period starting at 12:01 AM Eastern Time)

Can we make it easier to gift people then?

Load a room, right click on person, select gift, delay while gift list loads, choose gift, include message hit send. It all sounds easy enough but there's enough lag delay in there that often the person has left the room, thinks your ignoring you, shut off IMVU, grabbed a soda from the fridge and turned on the TV. ( while your still loading their wish list )

I'd love to see a "Gift Room " feature, right click on room, select gift all, your wish list loads, select a gift, select users in room you want to send too, write message, hit send. Everyone gets a gift at once and you can carry on as part of the conversation.

If you want people to gift more, don't tell them.. just give us the tools to actually do it. Razz

I think I'll gift some zero change derives, those are unique according to Imvu.

Unique means individual items.

To clarify, item X being purchased 10 times won't count toward the record 10 times - only once.

Items X, Y, Z being purchased at least once will count as 3 items purchased.

Makes sense?

It might be a little hard to find unique items when developers get their work stolen all the time, but what the heck, I'm game.

The trick will be making sure you're buying from the actual creator and not someone who "ripped" the developer's mesh and sells it as their own.

unique would just mean by PID number by what Varsha is saying, so if you gifted your latest item to 50 people, it would only count once. Idk though if there is a really hot item that thousands of people decide to gift to their friends, is that not going to count after the first one?
