Well i see that Imvu still hasn't fixed anything that has been broken all that has been happening since dec of 2010 is the client gets worse and worse . its a shame that rather than address teh issues at hand you continue to try and ad more features.
please for god sake repair what is broke before you completely ruin the client the lag has not been corrected since the beginning of the intro of the splash screens in ever room which slows down the loading of every room. still lags when people are changing still camera angel is way off i wish i would of saved a version form back in 2010 at least back then everything was working.
seems that all yous are doing is catering to the ga people which by the way are not the ones who even put money in imvus pocket it is the vip and ap people and those adults here that do that. I have had wedding photos flagged which were appropriate i have had room pictures removed when they were ga all you have done is create a way for someone who may not like you easier to make your life miserable..
i pretty much gave up on imvu i am so frustrated that all you have done is not listen to the end users and make it all for kiddys ty imvu for destroying a once useful product
may the wind always be at your back may the sun always shine Docs |

I am having the same problem. As an example, while I was modding the DOC today, this product is being used quite a bit. It is lagging to the point that it is a stop motion situation. The kbs on it are not that large, so I'm not sure what the problem is, but thought the techs would like to try it in the Shop. Or if anyone else has a suggestion as to why it's so laggy? Thanks!

i can tell you that i chose not to buy that exact same product because of the same stop-motion lag when i tried it in the shop in November last year.
That was several versions of IMVU ago so that issue has existed at least that long.
i have noticed that many people do use it though with no troubles and as you wrote it is not large in kb.. maybe it is an operating system issue then? 32bit vs 64bit or WinXP vs Win7?

i have a old computer and as you can see from my signature lag isnt really a problem for me i might lag for a second or two when someone enters but only after i have been on for a long time with my cache build up do i get a lil more laggy but the way yall make it out as it lags for a long time and cant never do anything. i can even hold up in about 5 rooms. _________________ System:

@BradKillah
You made the point for me.
IMVU still seems to actually run better on older 32bit Windows XP than it runs on 64bit Windows 7.
It is not actually a hardware issue at all, it is a software problem. _________________ Domination, Sadism, Masochism, slavery, humiliation..
