IMVU is working on the Music Player and all the hang-ups there....
I Thank God I am not in their shoes. This is a thing where Corp. Office is waiting for return answers from someone outside of IMVU. . . Prolly outside of the USA, too. :/ They have NO CONTROL over the response they get and how it really pertains to the problems at hand. . . . Many times the response has nothing to do with the problem or how to fix it. . . . :/
All I know and think about is IMVU does NOT want music to be anything less than PERFECT. HECK they are paying as much or more than us!!! ( profit and loss ) for this to be right... If we ALL hold our breath for 10 seconds or less .... everything will be good. The commissions are PAID !!! to the provider :/ Product is unsatisfactory. . . . IMVU is working on it!!!! H-E-L-L-O
CRAP
! They are on it........... Whats up? Relax and hold on for a bit... Let the technical channels work as they do.... Have you ever *tried to *make* another corporate entity conform to the real deal? . . . . Wake up! IMVU has stated they are werkin' on it.... What else is complaining going to do ? ? ?
I see no reason to scold or complain to those on the 'battle-front' as they are fighting as best as they can to win. . . . For ALL of us . . . Why the harassment? Stop it !!!
More flies are caught with honey than with vinegar. I see a small army who have a good objectives and goals. Then I see lots of people telling them they are not right and they are not qualified to fight *OUR* battles or the attack was wrong. . . . .
Conclusion? Well .. . I think. . . . if you are not part of the solution, you must be part of the problem.... Let those in their correct fields fight for all of us. Otherwise get the heck outta the way. . . . _________________

A lot of people are pissed off over the music simply because they took away trigger music, without giving proper refunds to people who should deserve them, trigger music, which DID work perfectly, and then, they forcibly slap us with their music system. which has tons of flaws due to the fact they got the wrong sort of license for the service, on top of things not working period. Couple that with the fact their selection quite frankly sucks... And you only get one result. Angry people. Justifiably so. And, likewise, can you blame people for taking anything IMVU says with anything other than skepticism? How many times have they screwed us over? To put it bluntly, yes, people are going to be pissed off when you take away their toys, and give them a broken and highly inferior one to replace it. Getting mad at people who are getting mad about not being able to properly use something they PAID for is highly inane. _________________ Keep your friends close... Keep your wallet, closer. |

I second that Gaffy. Brilliant new feature Varsha. I got two invites within quick succession. Saw one was to a public room. It listed the room name and how many people were in it. The second invite was to a private room. I loved that I was informed of what, who, where, how many people. Excellent idea _________________

As I was modding the DOC today, these two products came up on back to back pictures. They illustrate the problem with these sorts of animated enhancements and shows the lag quite well. It takes a while for them to load compared to other non-fx products. So, anyhoo, I thought I'd post them as a techs FYI:
http://www.imvu.com/shop/product.php?products_id=12802953 This is causes more lag than the next one. It has the same effect of causing jerky pauses as do the all-over body glitter suits.

The latest pre-release seems to have some serious decorating glitches.
First I cannot rotate pieces of furniture more than just via spinning and not the usual tilt capacity once I have moved a loaded piece of furniture away from the spot where it first loads in a room. I have to re-set it back to where it first loaded and then try to position it before taking it to another node or it won't rotate correctly. This is tedious.
The second problem (and this is much bigger) is I was in this room. http://www.imvu.com/shop/product.php?products_id=11390834
And I was trying to move a particular furniture book case.
http://www.imvu.com/shop/product.php?products_id=10843553
I had put several of this particular book case in the room already but for me this latest one did not load but a friend could see it. I closed the room and re-started IMVU. When I did this every other one of that same book case I had put in before (including previously re-sized ones) all piled in the middle of the room like they had been in the void. All of them, including ones that had been locked. The resized ones were back to their normal size. And the locked ones were no longer locked. There were at least six of them all piled in the middle of the room, including ones that hadn't been touched while decorating on this version! I had to put them all back to their spots one at a time. The missing one had finally appeared but all the ones that had been in the right places had been stacked with it. Hours of decorating undone. _________________

With music my friends can get the play list to play on their end but I the first track doesn't play on my end, it just spins. When that song is over though it'll play the second track. _________________

I have to concur - this is a GREAT feature! So far, I'm having no issues with this version. I'll get online in create mode to check further. _________________

Yes the new Invite Format is a definite keeper. All that have it available are talking about it in the chat and loving it.
An excellent way to cut down on the negative chat experiences...
Please leave it in the client, others are anxious to use it too. . . :_D _________________

Using 470.22 still no camera pan with the "shift" or "ctrl" and arrow keys....will try 470.24 later unless someone else has already mentioned it does or does not work in 470.24 but I have not seen it posted as of yet....
EDIT: It is not working in 470.24 either. Are they attempting to fix it or has this been done away with? _________________ Windows 7

I actually wish they implemented this invite feature much sooner, there were some safety issues that you had no idea where you were being invited. I wish we had this years ago. _________________
