The best thing is to learn on examples. I have already posted my Tier info before in the older thread and will now again so then you will maybe learn something from it.
First three are the CORE. Those are static and do not change.
Second three are UNIQUE and they are not static which means that they can be changed or moved with/to the last three metrics.
Last three are UNUSED metrics. They don't count for points, but they also change from month to month. If you, for example, have 3 points in PR activity and 0 in your CORE metrics (sales, etc) those 3 points will not be calculated.
Try to see on this example:

..So then you have to think through; if I have 0 in Promo credit sales I will work on it. Try by adding Shutouts, send thank you message to Guest who bought your product and you will let the people know that they are also important to you as much as real credits or people who are not Guests.
I am telling you all this by my own experience. I need just 1 point to get back to Tier 5. My problem is/was to gain Predits(promo credits) or sales.
There is no static number of how much this or that you need to gain 1 Point. It all depends of how other developer's work and activity.

It depends on how chatty everybody else has been in the forums - last month 41 got me 1 point, maybe someone else that has 3 points can post. (but it may be completely different numbers needed from month to month)

I have 278 posts and that gave me 3 points in that Unique metric. The thing to remember when it comes to the CCGen Posts metric is that the forum posts that count are those only posted in CCGen and I think one other creator forum, I'm sure someone can verify that for us. And these posts are supposed to be helpful or asking a question, not just 'thanks' 'sup' 'great' type posts. Those type are considered spam.

There are 2 types of sales ..
1. Direct - you direct sales
2. Derived - sales on your mesh derived by other.
Suppose, If you mesh a product and I derive from your mesh and if I sell 1 copy . you will get 1 derived sale and I will get 1 direct sale. |

Tier 2 here at the moment. I'm hoping to go up to three soon. I don't think I'll make it this month, I haven't been doing enough posting and peer reviewing to get that far. Maybe next month, I don't really nderstand tiers too well but I'd like to have the pro badge someday c:

If you mean how many indirect sales (sales made from other person's catalogs who have derived from your mesh.) you need to make one point.The last time I asked a similar question I was told on an average of about 500,000 to 600,000 sales for the quarter gets you 1 point.
(I'm not sure if this is still accurate.)
But be mindful as well though that there is still the creator curve.Which is the total performance of the developing community for each month that must be factored into the equation.

I am still lost on something though. My recently submitted items are in the unused part.. and peer review is in unique. i kno for sure i have submitted lots of products recently (well in the month of feb.) and i havent done much peer review.. so my question is when the tiers update will recently submitted be back in the unique metrics or will they not count that.. if not i think i will be stuck at level 2 forever

It's been discussed several times in this thread already and it's previous incarnation that Spare (uncounted) metrics and unique metrics are interchangeable.It's based on which unit has the better score.So if this Month your recently submitted units have the better score among the other spares they will be bumped up to Unique metrics and the other poor scores will fall back into spare.It's also possible this may not happen.It all depends on which of the units turn out to be your stronger metric (better score).
