| I'm currently making a few secret projects, one of which that is due to arrive soon. What I'm wondering is how do I connect something to a bone object? I was told that this item of mine needed to be attached to a specific bone, but as I'm new to 3ds max, I for the life of me cannot figure out how. Any help would greatly be appreciated. |

OD - by attach do you mean attached in MAX?
Avatar products (actually all models, but especially avatar products) are attached to bones via the 'Skin' modifier or the 'Physique' modifier in studio max. You can read about both skin and physique in the max tutorials.
If you mean attached like 'glasses' are attached you your head, then the attachments doc has the info you need. Briefly, the fastest way to get up to speed on attachemtns will be to download one of the example max files and twiddle with one of the existing attachment products in the catalog.
