Hm a curious question I think I asked it a long time ago but thigs have changed now cause we have creating in client and other things...
Anyway.. when creating a product do you add in the tags? I never do because whenever I have searched a product in the catalog the only thing that comes up is a developer with the name of w.e I am searching..
A friend brought to my attention today that doing tags makes your product found easier though now probably not completely true but am just wondering how many of you use tags when doing products "keywords" and do you think it helps your sales at all? _________________ ~Just because you say it doesn't make it true ~

i do ^^ its useful if you have a line of products , you can put a special tag on them to make a search filtering only those products. _________________

Names only offer an advantage for an exact match one word search phrase, after that.. the reason they are coming up is use of titles, descriptions and keywords. ^^ _________________

Yes, of course, otherwise how will people find your products in a search? _________________

i use the keywords each and every time. I think it helps people find my stuff on search, but I don't really know if it does _________________

I also use them every time, not sure if it helps but it cannot hurt so I add them. _________________ Bling Me!

Yes, I use tags. The more tags, the better. As others have already pointed out, the more tags you have, the more likely your products will come up in the catalog search. I've been doing a bunch of shopping of late, and the catalog search SUCKS. When I'm searching (as a customer), I keep adding more keywords to narrow down my search and weed out all the creator names with those keywords. In short, definitely use tags... all twelve, if you can. _________________

I always use tags... For example lets say there is a creator with the name Vintage... Well that creators stuff weill come up first YES.. But if you have the word vintage in your tag words your item will appear when someone is looking for vintage items. After the creator with that name.

I use tags and as many as it lets me add..All pertaining to that product. Even an environment, as beach, summer, etc. Might sound silly but I think it works. Doesn't hurt, again as long as it pertains to that particular product. _________________ TIME FOR ZERO TOLERANCE
