Do all these steps inside the account giving the credits away, not the one receiving them.

First, try using the "Give Credits" feature here. It should be pretty straight forward to use. Type your password in to make sure it is you in the account giving the credits. Then type in the avatar name you want the credits to go to and finally type in how many credits you want to give.

You can only give real credits (not promo credits) and you may have a limit on how many you can send.

If you do have a limit, you can try the second way by asking IMVU to do the transferring for you. To do this, you'll need to file a help ticket by going here and clicking on "Request Support".

Write that you want to transfer credits to another account. Tell them who that account is and how much you want to transfer. You can use my text as a template if you want:
Quote:
Hello,

I want to transfer 100cr to the user "Qwerty", but I have reached my credit transfer limit, could you transfer the credits for me please?

Thank you Smile

Just change the credit amount and the user name to what you want Smile

Good luck!

Moving to correct forum.

I'm a little confused on this.
I bought credits accidentally in one of my alts instead of my main.
Yesterday around 10am i transferred 10k over to this one.
So here at 1pm the next day, I try to transfer and it says i might have hit a monthly limit.

I don't understand. My other alts are on a 1-day credit transfer hold, no biggie.
So why would another account have a different time retention?

It's a newer account than the others, so are newer accounts suckier with longer retention times or something?

o___o ???

I mean really imvu, the faster one spends their credits, the faster they need to buy more. Common sense here.

i believe imvu has some sort of algorithm to work out which accounts are higher risk. These have different credit transfer restrictions.

this is for your safety.

So... there's like... no way to know beforehand... and no way to know after...
...when you can send credits again?

...

...

...what? lol

File a help ticket asking them to send the credits to your account.

Sent ticket. This should be fun.
It always is. >_____<

Really though... like yeah, fair enough, homeland security, safety, err, whatever...
...even after that, they won't tell you when you can send your credits from your account?

Is there a button i'm missing that tells me this somewhere, or is this just another one of those things that make absolutely no common sense?

IMVU will not tell anyone what their sending limit is whether daily or monthly simply because it would just encourage hackers to hack account and know exactly when they will be able to get the credits etc. Anyways they dont tell you the limit for your own security.
