Celebrate "12 Days of IMVU" - Starting today!

We are excited about the upcoming holiday season and wanted to share the joy and merriment with all our members. Starting today, December 14th, we are launching a special promotion called 12 Days of IMVU.

How do you participate? It is pretty simple and FREE

--Log into IMVU 3D chat at least once every day starting December 14th.
--In the spirit of sharing the holiday cheer,send a unique and exclusive gift to any one of your IMVU friends. There will be a different gift to give every day of the month and only way to get that same gift for yourself is if one of your friends chooses to send you that gift!
--To celebrate your generosity, get a different free gift for yourself from IMVU made exclusively for the celebration by one of our awesome Creators. Remember, you get your own special gift only AFTER sending the daily gift to one of your friends.

Make sure you log in everyday and send your gift, and of course receive your own. If you miss it, you can not get it again!

There is also a special super bonus prize if you log in on all 12 days of December and send and collect all the free gifts! Collect all 12, and receive another extra-special gift when you log in on December 26th.

Don't you think it would be a nice idea to be able to send the gifts to non-friends ?

I think it might be a bit glitchy still or something. 2 friends sent me todays and I have yet to receive it. If I miss out on the special super bonus prize cause of it I'll be disappointed.

Yeah, And HOW are we supposed to send a free gift?

Is there a pop-up on the website?
Is there a link to a certain item available?

Or, Is this a SCAM to have us spend credits.

I've just tried several time to find and send it, only to come up with NOTHING.

On the first day of IMVU, WE'VE BEEN HAD! No Free item to send, No free item to get....

In about 15 minutes after I post this, I would have just missed out on the first item and the bonus item on the 26th.

Yeah, on the first day, I got SCROOGED by IMVU, and so did the friend I wanted to send the free gift to.

Happened again today wth!

I am receiving the gifts for sending to friends but when someone sends me the gifts I don't get them!

So is it a glitch or what?? Is this going to be fixed and the items sent to us or we get "oh well you screwed and don't get them".

Seriously its disappointing!

Hmmm...my pop-up pops up in the client but then never loads in. This happened yesterday and I didn't know what this mysterious non-loading window was and just closed it a few times, but today I found out it's the "give a friend a gift" screen.
Kind of bummed about that because I can't give anyone a gift AND I really wanted that drinking cocoa with polar bears thing AND I guess I missed yesterday's gift and at this rate will miss them all!
