I'm just staying downgraded then. I actually use Chat Now all the time. This was a big let down for me. You guys definitely need to put it back on, A bit silly to take it off in the first place, really. Rolling Eyes

Just join a random public room but remember that the majority of people on imvu lie about every possible thing imaginable so it's not that different from rolling the dice using chat now. Razz

As a dedicated user, I am actually sad to see it go. I've had countless funny, bizarre memories of Chat Now, and I think the feature was what made IMVU popular back in IMVU's golden days. Sure, people would always leave as soon as they saw you (as a matter of fact this happened 90% of the time), and sure, the chat now pair ups were never correct, but it was still fun to do when you were bored. But since there are public rooms and a people search in the client now, chat now was just another useless feature like the pet feature. So long Chat Now, and so long stupid winged guy.

First you take away the messenger now this???
I met a lot of awesome people on the "chat now"
No wounder a lot of the old user stop using IMVU.
Yes it's good for the noobs but what about the old users who still get on imvu? What about Them, your making imvu better? Yes for some of the users but not all. What about if you give people of the option, For the NEW IMVU or The old imvu with the Messenger?
I miss that old thing.
I AM truly disappointed. Sad

Users who where from 2006 truly appreciated The chat now. :'(

I never quite understood where the chat now funtion whas meant for. I had tried it... once or twice, but I found the results dissapointing.

My friends come from: visiting rooms, groups and games.

This is *** ridiculous. I used to use IMVU and I missed it so I came back, only to find that chat now has been disabled. That's the only reason I ever used the site in the first place. If I wanted to go to a chat room, I would go to one of the millions of other chatrooms on the internet. I liked IMVU because I could randomly talk to one other person, rather than entering a chat room where everyone else already had friends and cliques established that they would rather talk to than acknowledging me.
