| But you edit the panel from either the HP or the client not that the client editting works all that often. But the fact is if they are claiming HTML is a security threat then it is a security threat whether it is in the client or on our HP's. It can't be a threat in one and not a threat in the other as it's the exact same coding that can be used. |

I just re-read Varsha's post and noticed she never mentioned Homepages at all. She only says "interest panel" for which there are two panels that are connected and called this.
Oh! Good point. Good observation. I do hope this is not referring to the HP's at all.  |

| Security risk? cmon Varsha.. tell them to give you something better to say since that. I have been designing, building and programming computers since we used magnetic tape and 3 foot spools. yea IM old.. there is NO risk in adding a code that makes a word be in a button. Seeems to me your bosses are telling you.. Varsha, if you cant blind em with Brilliance, Baffle em with BullCrap!!! |

I'm in agreement, eventually IMVU will come in one little package and accessible only thru the client, this is my gut feeling and has been for a while now.

| i belive every month they willl always have something new to update imvu o.o meaning better quality or fixing glitches while we test them but i noticed everytime we are going thruogh changes some ppl complain but others dont but later on the others as of some that dint complain will see the effects why the other ppl complain its more like a wave passing. more like it. |

This is exactly it on both the points. I've known this since they started moving everything over into the client. Wonders what plans they have for stickers or those that makes stickers when they go ahead and remove homepages all together. What a sticker card for the client maybe.

Ok, you scare me there... yet you are right. They are moving everything to the client.
I would hate so much to having to enter the client just to see someone's homepage.

That is so totally messed up...I like having a customizable HP. It *is* a BIG reason why I never went to SL. If everything gets moved to the client...I'm sorry IMVU, but I'll be gone. And I can guarantee a bunch of other people will jet it with me.

I scare everybody actually with the way I think. However its a fact that they are moving everything into the client.
Little by little they are stripping customizations options from the homepages once they do that it'll be easy just to delete that feature of the site completely. Is why I hardly have any code except for my banner on my hp and a nice background page. Its also why I never customized my page as everyone else has. I saw it coming for a long time now. Now things are moving at a steady fast page towards the end of the web site features as little by little things are added to the client.

I'm pretty sure she means the avi card panel that comes up when you click on anyone's avatar picture. I've seen some people have fancy stuff there, and I didn't even realise that people put HTML coding in it. O.o

I bolded the part for you to see that it does not say avatar card it says interest panel. No where does it state avatar card or avi card. They are talking panel which is on the homepages.
