Is there any way were you can purchase the name registration without using paypal?
Like, using a prepaid card or no? |

| i quite frankly hate my imvu account now and i cant find much of a reason to even log back in.. I was lied to by false advertisment point blank... I was screwed out of a 10$ prepaid card that I could have used for 10k credits instead, but no I was told by many other users that I could just buy my name through vip and i would never have to worry about ever being a NOOB ever again.. and imvu's lovely advertising never told me guest_ would be plastered right back on my name after it elapsed.. in fact i believe i purchased my vip on April 24 this year but somehow I was still affected by this change.. -smh- I do not feel that imvu values their customers at all and are just looking for a quick buck... |

The $25 and $50 prepaid cards provide name registration currently.
The $10 cards do not.
http://www.imvu.com/prepaidcard/
As the cards scroll through they will show you what they come with.
Not sure if those benefits apply if you use it for VIP. You would have to file a help ticket to ask.

On a different account? If it is the one you are posting on, then that would be a chronological impossibility as your join date is May 5th. _________________

Hey folks,
It's understandable to be angry at the change in the VIP subscription -- and especially at the lack of notice -- but watch the name calling, theft accusations, etc.
In answer to some of the questions asked in this thread, for those in the US, the $25 and $50 prepaid cards come with name registration -- regardless of which option you choose (credits or VIP). I'll have to check into the prepaid cards for the other countries where they are available.
ETA: For Canadians, both the $20 and $50 card come with name registration.
For the UK, the £15 card includes name registration.
For Mexico, the $150 prepaid card includes name registration.
For France, the 20€ prepaid card includes name registration.
For both Australia and New Zealand, the $25 prepaid card includes name registration.
Again, in all these above mentioned prepaid cards, the name registration comes with the card and is not contingent on any VIP subscription. _________________ The size of the purple monkeys has no effect on the height that banana fish can jump. |

| My opinion on this matter is, that this is a very very mean decision. |

And to what about those who do not have a credit card and no way to buy their name? I have never even bought VIP for .99USD because I do not have a form of payment that way. The way I had bought VIP was just buying a prepaid card. I know many people who are in the same situation as I am and are not able to buy their names and continuously buy prepaid cards to take Guest_ off of their names. So to this I say that is completely unfair to those of us unable to actually buy things via purchase online. _________________ ~~Vandheere~~ |

| One question, if your account was made BEFORE the set date do you get the guest PERMANENTLY removed after VIP or is it for all accs? |

[quote="LordRiccardo"]Yet the VIP advert makes no mention that the guest prefix will return if you cancel the subscription.[/quoteI]
I have already purchased two seperate names for $20 a pop. I should not have to purchase a third name. My VIP subscription is up to date and valid. This is bullshit. My vip will automatically be renewed on the 6th of the month as it has been since I started. I became VIP and bought the AP for percs I was told I would get. I can't become a creator? Bullshit man.
I also can't buy discounted credits from my daughter's website. It keeps telling me my name isn't registered also. My name is registered.]
I want this solved to my satisfactioln. I'm a paying customer and I deserve to be treated right. Fix this. |

And this is why I only "chat" on IMVU I buy stuff with the credits that I make from my catty..
and NOW you have to have VIP in order to view who's visited your HP? WTF?!?!! I have a right to know who's stalking me VIP or not!
Honestly, if it wasn't for the few friends I made in IMVU... I wouldn't be here at all, but because of them I stay, as I feel that IMVU has gone BADLY downhill, ESPECIALLY if you are an adult! _________________ AmbrosiaRavynWulf
