lets have a monty python and the holy grail avitar and clothing or there should be a movie theatre where u can talk to your friend and watch a movie like monty python !!!

I think rpgknight would like to see more themed items and is asking for someone to start a line of monty python clothes, accessories, rooms, etc.

Ah...I thought, perhaps, he was asking for some way to stream video in a chat room....ah well. I guess since nobody wants that, we'll just avoid putting it on the list...........ho hum........whistle whistle............

Just my AV$0.02: if streaming content and/or external content loading gets enabled in rooms, I want it to be hardcoded in the CFL file in some way that the details page for such products always shows that such content is enabled for the rooms.

IMO it creates too many potential security/privacy issues, not to mention possible annoyances because there's no telling what the developer will stick in the room, to not warn potential buyers about what they're thinking of buying.

I can understand that concern, Roland. So, what if rooms with streaming content that may change are a category of their own? So, you know you're buying a room with streaming content and that the content might change?

I made a Flash screensaver that people could install and I could change it at any time and the new content would show up on your computer next time your screensaver ran (screensaver...how 20th century!) and IMO it was totally cool that you could change it. On the other hand, if you can't change it, I suppose that might encourage people to buy a new one. lol

Separate category would work. I guess there's really no insurance products won't change right now either, except the developer would get a bad rep. if he/she did change the product without good reason (like fixing a bug and adding detail at the same time).

You know what would be cool? If you could have a room like a movie theatre or living room where you had a remote to pick which "channel" you wanted to watch. People who make flash movies could make it into an IMVU theatre for fans to stay updated on the new movies.
It's taking the streaming content idea to the next level by adding real interactivity to a room through buttons.

not *just* a movie theater, you could change the channel and play games or listen to music or um...play dress up dolls. hahaha!
