Heres a group dedicated to skins and tattoos.

Link

Most tattoos use opacity maps, in the group there should be a thread to help you learn about those and more threads about tattoo and skin making. :3

Tattoos are pretty simple to make.
All you really need to make is a design. You can use premade gimp or photoshop brushes, which are free and all over the internet. Also, a lot of devs sell tattoo packs on the file sale forum.

I remember a while back SIKK had some awesome tattoo tutorials, this was years ago though, and that was the most useful tutorial Ive read.

Ok i am off to try these sites and see if i understand them better. I know how to do them i just want to learn how to fade the colour a bit for a more natural worn look rather than i just slapped a transfer on the avis skin hehe. and to learn how to add coloured pics for a tattoo as that to me is the hardest as I know how to do different coloured looks but how do i add the tattoo to diffuse if it is multi coloured because they always come out with the white edge when i try coloured tatts. Anyways i must have posted a zillion times about tattoos...i love doing them just getting bored with the ones i do.

And how you do that? I'm trying to do that myself with just black Tattoos. I dislike the white border around it that shows up.
