|
Ok ive been getting millions of messages daily as i found the Exporter heres a simple hint guide Enjoy, Ok First things first you need the exporter supplied by IMVU in the creator center, then install it and follow these pics via highlighted paths ^^
image one:
so go to computer or my computer then go to the top icon for me its Os
image two:
then once in here go to 'Program Files'
image three:
now scroll down to 'IMVU Cal 3D Exporters For 3D Max'
image four:
Last of all after there you'll find the file named '3Ds Max 2010' go into there and theres your Exporter DLE file and DLL file then just put the DLE into the max plugins file and the DLL in the main directory for max 2010 and done Enjoy And Hope This Helped Happy Meshing ^^ _________________

one the IsoHunt is where i get my PC games lmao and i know he did yes but many have messaged me asking where the files go to and imvu sets a file not organizes them into the proper folders so its just to show where they are and note i do say where you obtain this file its supplied via imvu _________________

There's only reason your getting that error. you might want to call Autodesk and ask them for some help _________________

If you're using Matt's new plugin (from IMVU), then I'd report something to Matt - either on the thread where he talks about the new plugin or through a help ticket.
If you're not using Matt's new plugin, then why not? It's the only one for 2010 I think
"Failed to initialize" could be almost anything. Maybe the files are in the wrong spot or you're using the wrong version of the plugins for your version of Max or... who knows.
You can always try calling Autodesk but I would bet they're going to say - "not an authorized plugin manufacturer, you'll have to contact them for information." That is, Autodesk (I don't think) will not help you with 3rd party plugins such as the one provided by IMVU. They might be able to help you get a more detailed error message, but they will unlikely be able to help you solve the issue. |
