How to get rid of the pet

ok. i got a pet i used to take care of it. but dont have time for it anymore. i wannt get rid of it how?

Try asking around and see if any of your friends wants it? Is it a rl pet or a IMVU pet? If it's IMVU just stop feeding it. If it's rl just ask around and find it a good home.

unfortunately IMVU does not give a way to remove the pet.
All you can do is ignore the pet button and then ignore the spam messages about it being ignored. It won't die.

Well I'm going to take a wild guess and say it's an IMVU pet... No one is heartless enough to let a real pet starve to death. I hope. O.O;

No, not the pets you buy in the catalog. Pet Mode. The rabid dogs you play with and feed treats. It's in the later versions of the client. Go look. ;]

don't activate the pet unless you REALLY like virtual pets.
It doesn't die,
it gets bad tempered if not played with,
you get credits for playing with it, but spend credits to feed it.
If you play with it enough you end up with a profit.

But it cannot be turned off once activated.
Find the pet button on the messenger if you want to set one going anyway.
