How come it is not possible to use those to buy credits, or VIP? If there is, can someone please tell me so I wont think I wasted $50.

Prepaid cards are redeemed here. They are used for credits.

There isn't a prepaid card for $50 is there?
She might mean a gift card, have you tried activating it?

IMVU accepts Wal-mart gift cards? If so, that's news to me. Confused

Only up to $25. You can't use a Wal-Mart giftcard on IMVU, that is why I asked if it was a prepaid credit card.

I think the prepraid cards for IMVU only come in either $10 or $25 amounts.
They must be talking about one of those prepaid Visa card things.

... If you are talking about a prepaid Visa, on the back of the card there should be a website for you to visit to actually register the card so you're able to make online purchases with it (even then though, I'm not sure those will work here.)

I used a pre-paid card that had been properly activated but that was almost two years ago. Target sells the IMVU prepaid cards. Might try buying one of those instead? Or get a paypal account with the money you'd use buying a visa gift card.

I was talking about the prepaid credit cards, to make it clearer. Is there a way to use those?

Yes. Did you activate the card through the company first by going online or calling?

If you have at the header on this page:

Credits>buy credits (select amount)> Add to cart> check out (fill in info where step 4 allows you to chose a prepaid visa)>finish transaction

You cannot buy an Access Pass with a prepaid card. Resellers are cheaper than IMVU for credit sales and many of them can take Visa. You might look into using one of the registered resellers if you want more credits for your money.

If I knew that, I'd be filthy rich here on imvu. As much as I'm always in Wal Mart, I've never seen a pre-paid imvu card, and trust me I've looked.

The VIP is a monthly thing, so I'm not sure if pre-paid cards work for that, but you should be able to buy credits with it (as BrookefromBlight said).
